My car consumes too much fuel, with no check lights on the dash. It's just too obvious. I drove a v6 car and noticed the difference. Is there any trick behind this? Car in question is a l4 2000 accord.

I'm 99per sure you check engine light has been connected to your batt warning light or oil pressure light.

Is ur thermostat removed?
Is ur fan runing direct?
Is ur oxygen sensor still functioning?
are u using the recommended engine oil ?
All this will contribute to higher fuel consumption.
