The longest undisputed lifespan for a male is that of Jiroemon Kimura of Japan (1897–2013), who died in June 2013 at age 116 years, 54 days. He was also the world's oldest living person from December 2012 until his death.

I think today it is someone at about 116/117 in Japan.

The oldest was a French guy with verified 122 years.

I doubt this guy has even reached 90! Probably less.

My father's friend who is a Commissioner Of Police, his father died at the age of 125. I swr by God, that was his age! So stop deluding yourself, do really think Usein Bolt is the fastest man?!

All these fantastic claims of 125 and upwards have one thing in common, They are in the developing world where accurate records are not available.

Not taking it personal at all. Quite a few of my naija friends believe these silly claims. One also believes her grandmother lived to about 200! But then she also believed in juju, bullet proof charms and could not do basic arithmetic! I just quietly smile and raise an eyebrow.
