Have you worked with Linux before ? Because i think your problem might be working around a Linux environment and not Kali Itself. If the latter is the case my advise is that you get yourself comfortable with a Linux environment itself (eg Terminal commands, bash scripts e.t.c)After which you can now start geting comfortable with the tools Kali make available to you.

Sorry bro, my table is full. I have enough projects to deal with at the moment and deadlines are closing in fast. I was reluctant working with linux myself too, If it's any consolation. When i started working with Linux OS I didn't find it easy. I understood the advantages of using linux as a software engineer yet when i login to my LINUX partition I wouldn't last up to an hour before getting tired of the OS. Then I'll log in back to my windows (which at the time was my home zone) and work for hours.

So how did i finally get stuck to linux ? I QUIT USING WINDOWS. I just woke up one morning and deleted my windows partition that i so much loved and then day by day i just got better and comfortable using linux (With much googling on a daily basis. computer.

I'll send you an email however, so that you can have my contact maybe i can help every once in a while.

why nt try ubuntu

which linux distribution will u advice to start with. I once used Ubuntu bt had to revert back to windows because I nid applications like Photoshop.

Yes have heard of wine, Bt when I installed Photoshop on Ubuntu thru wine, the Photoshop keeps crashing whenever I select the type tool.

I run both Linux & Windows on the same machine, don't need dat stupid WINE.

Let's put it this way, start with Ubuntu, progress to red hat linux, then learn some pen testing, then download linux playlist from youtube

I learnt c/c++. C#, android python and some linux commands, all on YouTube, currently looking at bash (#usr/bin/bash) , shell scripting on YouTube also.
Hence I did it, you too can even do more with youtube :d

Why don't vyou just install Backbox Linux, (Both Ubuntu 14 and Kali linux tools available for your use)

Also, always visit Google. Instead of using Kali Linux on a dual boo, you can use a vmWear for it. So that it will be easy switching back wnd forth, but it involves a long configuration process. Always visit google and Youtube.
