Sire, if u followed most of post during this election i had given due credit to GEJ for returning power back to the pple. His calm nature baffles me with much admiration. Its only in Gej's time freedom to do, say or exercise anything was possible and we pray it endures same.

I like GEJ but most face the reality on the ground. Pls disregards what some shallow minded pple here are ranting based on tribe and region. 10 Buharis can not succeed in an united democratic Nigeria, hence i bliv GMB has grown above such plans to avenge or victimise.

APC we know aint saint but they asked for a chance to rule this country and make a difference. Nigerians have given then a chance lets all watch in 3D and hope it turns out good.

GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

At the scene: Will Ross, BBC News, Abuja
In public the message from both sides is the same - we have won. But behind closed doors there are long faces in the PDP camp.
It looks like Muhammadu Buhari's lead may well prove too wide to be bridged.
Unofficial results from most of the remaining states - published by national newspapers against electoral law - show that even if there are eyebrow-raising turnouts from Mr Jonathan's strongholds in the Niger Delta, he is still in trouble.

Fellow Nigerians, as an APC supporter, i will not support the mockery of the Ex-President Jonathan. It's unpolitical and unNigerian. We should be civil as we celebrate this long awaited victory.

who are you to tell us how to celebrate victory? we have had to endure PDP for 16 years - pillaging our resources in our own faces with a reckless abandon.

it's APC's time, abeg - let us cheer. grin

Rather, it is professional.

The media should not be faster than INEC.
I understand your point. But I'll tell you why it's unprofessional.
Their analysts are supposed to delivery unbiased views, extracting information from historical data and projections. You'll see there's a guy in the studio doing this well, but the Channels guys are shutting him down. That's not good. Besides, we know that local resident officers have also made preliminary results known. To me, it appears they are just dancing around the fear of supposing that Buhari has won. Nothing should stop them from being objective and not being scared.
Think CNN or New York Times, and you'll know that their studio analysts or political commentators would have extracted an almost definitive conclusion that Buhari has won, should they have to comment on this. Do you know the NYT actually came out with the main gist of the Germanwings crash before investigators went public? That's what you call proactive journalism.

Channels stance does not help the viewer. They are merely trying to tread carefully, as far as I can see. And they do this for their own selves.

I think the margin of votes between the APC and PDP in Taraba augurs well for the APC guber candidate in the state.
The APC is fielding a woman there, and if Buhari becomes president-elect, it may just propel her to the state government house.

BUHARI has never lost in sokoto and bornu
states...... with 2.7millions vote ahead and
needing just about 1.5million vote out of the
4million plus Vote to come out from the three
remaining states, it is mathematically impossible
for BUHARI to lose out.
he won both states against Obj in 2003 and
repeated same thing in 2011

BUHARI can do it
