dougivilla:Great! he may have done it to calm his supporters and that's alright to an extent. But you must agree that it's a CLEAR CONTRADICTION!! You can't accept defeat on one hand and reject defeat hours later. Think about it, he has been praised by the whole world that he is a statesman for what he did and then hours later the same Global media will report that he is challenging it. It's embarassing! Let's say the truth. Like I said, it may have helped to douse tension and calm his supporters and that's good but there could have been a better way to do that than embarass himself and the nation!! As for the Ekiti case, I was among the people who condemned the APC for going to court after Fayemi's concession. It rubbished it. If there were enough grounds of malpractice, then fayemi should not have conceded defeat. it's simply a contradiction. 1 Like |

stronger:I actually support Buhari, not Jonathan. But this shouldn't stop of from applying decorum when making utterances. Fayemi called and congratulated Fayose, even though his party still went to the tribunals. We are seeing the same thing play out here. I'd like to believe Nigeria has risen above those sentiments that make the most powerful person in a party the leader of that party. 1 Like |
