pls guys, i don't kno if any1 has experienced dis b4. My 8gb m.card got damaged on my android phone.
I was just downloading, d phone suddenly went off nd wen it came back on, d phone was just saying "sd card damaged. try reformatting" trying to format, it refuses to format even using windows. i can't access it on phone. but i can view d files on windows(pc). i've tried several means to format it but to no avail.
pls anyone with a way should pls help, repairing or formating. will be do grateful to get a solution here

If your phone is rooted download APARTED from play store
Navigate to tools
Select ur partition and use the repair option to repair ur sdcard

On ur PC download easeus disk partition u can use it to repair damaged SD card

if you can view the files but cannot write to it then the card is write protected. and possibly your card is permanently damaged. if you're lucky, it might work.

hmnmmm...i think dats d case. so i can just as well throw d mcard away....sobbing

I had this problem with my newly bought 16GB SD card.
After been used for like 2days after purchased, it keeps saying SD card damaged, later will b writing format SD card, the SD card later became unavailable on d fone(phone won't detect it)
Try to format it using Windows, bt it was unable to format, yet not discoverable by my fone.

Pls any help to this?

You can try formatting with Linux
Download damn small Linux about 50mb and boot from flash.
U can format the sd card after booting the os

Drop ur what's app number if u are confused
