Honestly, i no longer meet any igbo person that is happy in Nigeria.

Even the ones on televison and social media that spend alot of time on air or online with yorubas, that i assumed where sellouts are looking very sad and unhappy.

Can we have that UN supervised Referendum to stay or leave Nigeria now?

The vote to leave or stay is our right and we need to have that vote now.

Nigeria is sleep walking off the edge of a cliff. We are the laughing stock of the world.

Now France wants Buhari to sign trade deal becos they know he is unintelligent or cunning, like Goodluck that moved us into a country that manufactures vehicles rather than import Tokunbo.(dumping ground or scrap cars)

We will miss GEJ die!

I don't like commenting on any thread that revolves round igbo people because if you tell them the truth, they will insult you., call you Aboki or ofe mmanu or whatever because your opinion doesn't align with theirs, these people see the Hausas and the yorubas as their greatest enemy but they can't do without them and we (hausas & yorubas) can't do without them. I am a member of ''GOODLUCK ONLINE GROUP'' which is dominated by Igbo people on facebook maybe I am the only yoruba there, you need to see what my igbo brothers are commenting after the Buhari was declared the winner, they were saying we form alliance with Hausas/Yorubas to Vote Jonathan out, some were calling for separation from Nigeria. They have forgetten that the same yoruba race rejected Buhari and Pastor Tunde Bakare in 2011 and we voted massively for Jonathan. They are busy supporting Jonathan on social media while the electorates are out there collecting pvcs to vote, they are busy form T.A.N while most of the T.A.N members are without Pvc. I don't even know that there's an enmity between Igbos and Yorubas until I join Nairaland last year which is to show that many yorubas doesn't even know about the hatred. Come to think of it, Gej would have won the election had it been that he got enough votes from from the igbos. Go and sum up the votes gotten from Ebonyi, Enugu, Abia and Anambra and Imo and compare it with the vote GMB got from Kano, Jigawa, Sokoto, kastina, yes population differs which is an excuse some might want to present but we can't shy away from the fact that igbos didn't try in terms of number of votes they deliver for GEJ. Buhari didn't get up to one million votes from S/S and S/E and he won. The votes Gej got from Jigawa or Gombe is more than what he received from Abia and Imo state even though Abia state Governor is another case study. How many states in S/S and S/E deliver up to 1 million votes For GEJ apart from Delta and Rivers( I might be wrong). Buhari didn't win election because the yorubas supported him alone. Igbos are the enemy of themselves and not Hausas or Yorubas. Yes I know that many of them would still insult me and I'm expecting some insults for this comment made.. I sign my name..... JOKAY

my brother, you couldn't have said it better.

Igbo people are like African Americans, they always assume everyone is against them and they refuse to let go of the past.

The worst thing is any attempt to correct them will be met with hostility. The pride of an Igbo man will never allow him accept he's wrong, even when his error is staring him in the face eg this election.

When I was ringing it in the ears of Igbo people that PDP wasn't the way, they kept attacking me and saying I was just another Yoruba girl, even when I said I was igbo, they went ahead to say I hate my ethnicity and I'm not a true 'adafor'....now thhey're crying foul up and down like babies that were denied br-east milk

I'm glad other tribes had the sense the Igbos obviously failed to have cuz if na only them dey naija, e for don be for us. Let them remain in the political limbo they put themselves in. If APGA had joined the ACN and CPC coalition then like Rochas suggested, they wouldn't have been left in the dark like this. Now even Senate seat, they don't have.

They foolishly allowed PDP rig their senatorial and HoR votes last weekend and now, they've lost out on Senate presidency. Even the bible says "my people suffer for lack of knowledge"...let the Igbos suffer now like the Yorubas did in the GEJ administration by not getting any influential positions in this administration, so that in 2019, they'll make better decisions

Igbo's and hausa's (fulani's) don't go hand in hand. There is a big enmity there, mostly the Igbo ' s that once lived in the North, like me. Speaking for myself, I'll say that most Muslims (hausa's, fulani's) are not peaceful and they are blood thirsty.

I don't know if you have seen them inter-marry. Rarely.

Buhari is on that seat to either teach Nigerians a big lesson, or....to change it. Am not so sure he will do more than Jonathan.

Truth is that we Nigerians, need alot of help, but we still command respect. I don't know how we do that.

dude, after abandoning their homeland and relocated to go live in West and North do you know the combined eligible voters in all of Iboland is less that 4million?

Nobody is home!!

What Ibo has failed to realize is that there were three majorities that rotated or shared power distribution and that dimension is in the past....gone forever! Now Ijaw is in the mix, the North Central minorities are in the mix.....everyone want power and those who do a good job of controlling their home base and vote bloc stand to win.

You cannot form base in another man land.....you will end up in his entrapment. Thats what has happened to Ibo, they are entrapped in the vogues of Yoruba cities.

Igbo nation is the backbone of Nigeria economically, academically and business-wise.If they leave it'll be a big loss to Nigeria due to their skills, their business acumen and their all important oil.

Why should they stay in a nation that picks on them, doesn't value their skills and no one wants them to rule?

Sport...

I dnt even know if i will say Yoruba voted that much against Goodluck as the figures were close.

The Igbos shud blame themselves for the paltry figures they contributed.

That said, we shouldnt dwell much on the past but forge ahead.

sore and bitter losers crying more than the bereaved. Their hope got dahsed the moment their azikiwe decided to allow peace reign cos he doesn't want to end up in the hague. They thought he was going to succeed and hand over to them or burn the country if he lost, so they can have an excuse for Biafra. The sensible niger deltans are already bargaining with the incoming administration, with folks like tompolo calling for peaceful acceptance of the election result. It's just so pathetic how the Ibos are whining about it all. They are now blaming the yorubas as usual for GEJ's failure, as if we had a southern agreement that needed to be obeyed irrespective of whether he did well or failed. Why aren't they blaming the middle belt? Even the whole world wants GEJ out, that's why they parked their submarines at the shores of ghana should he mess up. It' only these embittered hate-filled people that want the continuity of failure. You better go and bargain with GMB now. I just hope he doesn't allow you guys to come near him with your ethnic salesmen in the likes of peter obi and ohanaeze. Bitter people

You're truly a neutral observer, you are so neutral you are inciting hatred and asking for a reason why the Igbos so stay in a country where they are alienating other parts of the country by their own actions!! lipsrsealed
I'm going to repeat that the igbos will continue to be in the same position till they let go of the angst of over 40yrs ago.

My own take is simple. One day an igbo man or woman will ascend the presidential throne of Nigeria. Every tribe is born to lead and not just follow. Minority only exists in our psyche.

Not possible Igbo man can never rule this country. It's in their blood to spite their own nose just to make a point. They can never rule this nation
