The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State won two Senate seats and five House of Representative seats in last weekend’s elections. The result declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) showed that APC won in Makurdi/Guma, Gboko/Tarka and Buruku federal constituencies. APC also won in Jechria Federal Constituency, as Iorwase Hemmbe was returned. In Kwande/Ushong, William Wayo of APC won. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won in Ukum/Logo/Katsina Ala, Apa/Agatu, Otukpo/Ohimini, Obi/Oju and Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency.
