quote author=googlepikin post=32303031]I was on a bike yesterday and the Abokii guy asked me who did I vote for, buhari or GEJ , I said buhari. I asked him who is he going to vote for in Lagos governorship election, he said all okada association and northerners have had a meeting that they can't be deceive by APC for the third time. that they have agreed to vote for JIMI AGBAJE. it's amazing that Lagos state presidential vote was 700 and something to 600 and something thousand mind you half of those who voted for buhari have plans to vote for JIMI AGBAJE. Abuja – The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as misleading and unfounded reports that the President-elect, Maj.-Gen. Mu has pledged to end insurgency in the country within two months.

“The President-Elect is still waiting to be sworn in on May 29. After the ceremony, he would need time to study the security situation and plan strategically with the security chiefs as to the way forward.

“Time is of essence here. Therefore, President Buhari didn’t and wouldn’t peg the decimation of terrorism within two months.

“The General was unequivocal about cleansing Boko Haram from our land; he would do a good job of it by giving a final permanent push to rid Nigeria of unscrupulous elements,’’ the statement said.

The statement recalled that in Buhari’s interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and Cable News Network (CNN), he didn’t put a time-frame to when he would eliminate terrorism.

“It would be unfair and mischievous for someone to ascribe to him what he hasn’t said,” the statement emphasised. (NAN) http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/04/buhari-didnt-promise-to-end-insurgency-in-two-months-apc/

We know that this is the only administration that will bring the greatest disapppointment to Nigerians. Did I hear you say that Buhari need time to study what? Pdp, are you hearing this idio.t? Buhari, according to apc while GEJ was there can comfortably sweep boko haram less than two months, you have not started, yet you have denied stoping boko haram? I pity this country. The worst of time is here. The confusion that will follow this government will be too and damn great that people will swear and refuse this country. Apc will produce the greatest shock and failure. Someone is saying Buhari need time abi? Is Buhari a visitor? Was he not normal all these days? This is the time to clearly tell Nigerians that apc is nothing but a party founded on sandy soil and will melt aways and I pray that God will assist Nigerian to over come what apc will bring upon us. Damn it men, pdp, come up, am not seeing your posts. Why? Wake up and tell apc that we are not disappointed and that apc is just a group of lie tellers.

I said it before that this party just want to use Boko Haram to win election now here we are again. I can remember vividly when apc including Buhari were boasting to end Boko Haram in a matter of weeks, here we are at it again Nigeria never know anything yet two thing is about to happen in a few months to come either to regret ever voting apc to power or to rejoice voting them to power it's going to be one out of the two guys just watch what will happen.

All this wild jubilation is just temporal the real colour of apc is about to be unveil soon. Buhari will be left with no option either to go apc way or become apc enemy for refusing to be toes around. But the harsh truth us about to strike very very soon. GOD bless I know they would disagree with me or start their normal sickened DNA of abusive nature in their blood but this is the truth.

This is a very intelligent post. When I hear people say Nigerians voted for change, I laughed. We still voted along ethnic and party lines. Different people have different expectations from Buhari. The first group are the genuine Nigerians who really voted for change and want to see a changed Nigeria. This is the minority, less than 10%. Then we have the APC members who feel it is their own time to control the government having delivered their states. This is another 30%. The remaining 65% are those who have voted their 'brother' and expect hand outs, preferential treatments, lopsided projects in their regions as well as tilted 'quota' system. This 60% will always vote for their 'brother' irrespective of the change sermon. How Buhari will balance these expectations is yet to be seen. But the problem is that if Buhari disappoints the 5 % who voted for him to instigate change, the 90% who have other intentions will keep him in power. In Nigeria, we are used to throwing parties too early...
Way too early o!!
