If the sequoia doesn't have any nightmare issues, go for it. The SUV would interest buyers more than a truck. Also both cars are fitted with a V8 engine so fueling the sequoia won't be an issue for u since u coming from a V8 powered tundra.

Go for the sequoia bro, it's easier to sell.
They're practically the same thing but just that one is a truck n the other an suv.
the sequoia looks like an unregistered vehicle so u may be luckier than u think.

That Sequoia is most likely the same model year as yhur Tundra. Its not a 2005. Anyways, yhu have yhurself a good deal. Just do the necessary checks and if all pan out well, then go for it. Maintenance shouldn't be different from yhur Tundra's cause one is a version of the other. Dunno which.

The sequoia and tundra are basically the same platform.
The SUV of ur friend, happens to be 3 yrz newer than ur truck and possibly mileage too.
Trucks costs lesser that their SUV counterparts.
Infact the owner should even be requesting for a counterbalance from you.
