The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State is gradually fizzling out with the overwhelming of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last Saturday election.

The former youth director for the Suswam campaign organisation, Chief John Akperashi Gum has already fixed a date, 7th April, 2015 for his defection ceremony.

Meanwhile, former minister of justice, Mike Aondoakaa (SAN) and Suswam’s deputy, Chief Steven Lawani and a member-elect of the House of Representatives for the Ukum, Katsina-Ala and Logo, Emmanuel Udende have concluded plans to defect to the APC.

Yesterday, the former youths director of Suswam, Akperashi withdrew all his campaign vehicles from the PDP campaign organisation, rebranded them with the campaign pictures of General Buhari and Chief Ortom and formally donated them to the Ortom/Abounu campaign organisation in a well organised ceremony.

Nigeria a place where most of its political actors don't have principles. Once your party is on the losing side, the party’s ideology is automatically bad. Once you not offered the ticket to contest the party’s ideology is automatically bad. That is why I will continue to respect Bola Tinubu who I think is a political guru. Mike Aondoakaa was part of the cabal from late President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua's administration. He should remain with the PDP.

Is there a way for apc to stop these defecting thieves? Damn! At the rate at which people are defecting, it's going to be the same thieves in government all over again. Smh!

dont be alarmed, apc cant stop anybody frm joining them as a result of freedom of association. But it wont be business as usual to eat national cake. With buhari as apc head and president, discipline is restored and like he has been enfacising that he wouldn't tolerate corruption in his govt. These people knw this even their tinubu and co. Its just to revive their political career so that they do not fade into extinction.

The right to freedom of association should be reconsidered in political realm

APC should not allow politicians from pdp defect to their party. They should be careful because this people are AGIP ( Anybody Government in power).

This is getting sickening. Lawani should remain where he is, nobody needs him.

Everyone is now running for cover since Buhari won. I hope the long arm of the law can reach them no matter how far or fast they run.

When APC was campaigning, PDP was preoccupied looking & searching for Buhari's WAEC result. Now that d result is out, i think they can now see dat he passed at distinction level in all d subjects.
