Lol guys...unfortunately... No party is allowed by law to deny anybody membership.

I think the law must be amended.

The right to freedom of association should be reconsidered in political realm
But there's no law that says we must accept anyone who wants to join our association.

If dis new "governing party" as buhari has said it wil b called from may 29, instead of pdp's own "ruling party", does not put a law to prevent cross-carpeting frm one party to another, then we are just deceiving ourselves wit all dis noise about #change, cos we are going back to square one & no change at all.
for us to move 4ward at all time,we need to always have a strong opposition party. cos dis our politicians like crossbreeding & to me apc &pdp are one. #buhari onyenbuhari lets see what u wil buharia la!

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State is gradually fizzling out with the overwhelming of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last Saturday election.

The former youth director for the Suswam campaign organisation, Chief John Akperashi Gum has already fixed a date, 7th April, 2015 for his defection ceremony.

Meanwhile, former minister of justice, Mike Aondoakaa (SAN) and Suswam’s deputy, Chief Steven Lawani and a member-elect of the House of Representatives for the Ukum, Katsina-Ala and Logo, Emmanuel Udende have concluded plans to defect to the APC.

Yesterday, the former youths director of Suswam, Akperashi withdrew all his campaign vehicles from the PDP campaign organisation, rebranded them with the campaign pictures of General Buhari and Chief Ortom and formally donated them to the Ortom/Abounu campaign organisation in a well organised ceremony.

With the likes of Aondoakaa joining APC, the party may likely go the way of The umbrella party.

dont be alarmed, apc cant stop anybody frm joining them as a result of freedom of association. But it wont be business as usual to eat national cake. With buhari as apc head and president, discipline is restored and like he has been enfacising that he wouldn't tolerate corruption in his govt. These people knw this even their tinubu and co. Its just to revive their political career so that they do not fade into extinction.
You are right, I had this same discussion with an APC member long ago when Atiku decamped to APC and the guy told me the same thing you are saying, he said that even with his decamping, it won't be business as usual cos they are trying to position the Party in a way that only credible individuals will be in position to take critical decisions. At that time, they were in the process of picking a Presidential candidate. He was able to convince me then to give APC the benefit of doubt and to see how things will turn out which I did and I've not regretted it till date. I'm still not a Party member but I believe the change APC preaches has a divine meaning. Let them decamp, they'll remain irrelevant and their influences will wane!

Once you not offered the ticket to contest the party’s ideology is automatically bad. That is why I will continue to respect Bola Tinubu who I think is a political guru. Mike Aondoakaa was part of the cabal from late President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua's administration. He should remain with the PDP.
Guy for ur info, for the past six years of PDP administration, Mike Aondoakaa gains "NOTHING"

Benue is in for a continuation of d rot. The change the entire country has been celebrating means little or nothing to us here. The only significance is that Gov Suswam is no longer in charge. The looting as well as all other variables remains constant

The conduct of these politicians can be disgusting to say the least.

You are correct about Tinubu who didn't run away from his disadvantage and groomed a one-state party into a colossal coalition of progressives! That is pure vision!

Mike Aondoakaa SAN thinks we have forgotten who he is, one of the most corrupt ministers of justice Nigeria has ever seen.
He was instrumental in emasculating EFCC and hiding the sins of people such as exGovernor Akume of Benue state who I can see is now a senator and touted as a possible next president of the senate. We can see it's just old wine in new bottles, we are being ruled by the same corrupt criminal masterminds of yesteryears.

He is not welcome anywhere. Be it PDP or APC.

A way? None Mr.
They are already rooted deep into the party, into its very fabrics, the APC is made up of former PDP members, soo in other words, the APC is just PDP with a new slogan and ACRONYM.
Its a pity people have refused to see it that way

is it not the same pdp that made the apc? Amaechi, atiku, kwankwaso, akume, gemade, saraki, oshiomhole, tambuwal, ngige etc. They should chase those names from apc before thinking otherwise.
