Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. I did not vote for him in 2011. I criticised him on my blog. However this changed after Tunde Bakare emerged from a meeting with him and declared: the man is a sincere Nigerian who is passionate about Nigeria. Tunde Bakare however felt Jonathan had far too many sycophants around him.
I began thinking differently. I looked and I indeed began to see that GEJ was doing what the media denied. I investigated and realised there was a conspiratorial gang up from and outside Nigeria against the man. Today, he's been bullied out of office and that says a lot about power and disusing it.
GEJ put Nigeria first. He could have clamped down on the opposition legally or illegally and gotten away with it. He could have blown his performance out of proportions to silence the opposition who said he wasn't working. He could have interfered with the electoral process to rig himself in and create an atmosphere of legitimacy. They accused him of plotting to sack Jega, hand over to an ING, cancel the elections. It was all a ruse. One old man even accused him of training one thousand snipers. No one has been shot dead though.
GEJ made a lot of mistakes - he married a woman who stood by him but was not a lady. He could not rule his woman into getting the best of his politics. It cost him, it's costing Nigeria not today but in the future because a few million more votes put a dictator who squandered justice, banished the truth and enthroned wickedness has been a elected.
In spite of all evidence available to GEJ, he made that phone call. Despite being able to find favourable judges in the courts that can handle the cases up to any level and reverse his loss, he conceded defeat. GMB had lost three times. He lost once to his brother but was never gracious to accept defeat to even his own brother. GEJ, you deserve more. You are immortalized. Those who deny your heroism are envious of the peak you reached even in your fall.

People who think they are smart aren't that smart after all. Unfortunately, the bolded is what Buhari and his people are doing ( except you fall into their category) but people like you will never see it. How has GEJ monopolised democracy? The same man who ditched his people to please the Northern and Western part of Nigeria. Removed national institutions from greedy people like OBJ who think what's meant for the country is theirs, as if the nonsense he and Atiku did in his tenure wasn't enough? Let's know??
