DozieInc: They don't. That's the consequences of hate politics and lack of political calculations. |
Re: Senate: Igbo Senators Lobby APC by smartigo: 10:32am On Apr 06, 2015 |
Isn't this preposterous to even conceive. So you will be APC by position but PDP in the heart. Either Nigeria is a joke or the Senate is. Rubbish! APC will be damn to accept this arrangement because the idea itself is selfish n borne out of greed. Anyway, our politicians don't stand for sometin; they aren't idealistic |

Ilekeh: You dey sleep at all ? Anyway, you dont own the Senate. Politically savvy Senators are forming alliances for now and the future, while a political greenhorn like yourself dey tear body. Smh. |

demmie1: You see your life. So why are u now begging and crawling on the floor to eat from the same Awolowo party. 80% of your progenitors were educated in the West; the initiave of the same Awolowo. As we speak, million of your brothers and sisters are being funded via free education scheme in South West with Yoruba commonwealth. 1 Like |

Have u guys forgotten that the position will be subjected to a vote and whoever is going to take that seat will need votes from SS and SE senators who are PDP. PDP has 49 senators. Anyone they vote for can clinch the seat. So don't say they have no power. |

neocentric:pls i disagree with the above point.. You can't reap what did not soW. You mean after voting massively for pdp (both presidential etc) due to the hatred they for the apc, the APC should now allow a mole in the guise of a new pdp stooge infiltrate the senate? I have no pity for the ibos, they should go and lick their wounds since they're suffering from a self-inflicted shot to the foot.. 1 Like |

Badassniggga: Whether you agree or not is nobody's business. We have no regrets for voting PDP. We don't need your pity. Go and pity yourself. If your APC know what's good for them, they better carry every region along. Everybody has freedom of conscience and expression in this country and no region or individual is under any obligation to vote for APC. Were they even expecting to get 100% support from everybody? A beg clear road!! Basterds!! How dare you come and tell us who to vote for? Una father!! |

Re: Senate: Igbo Senators Lobby APC by Kingspin(m): 11:31am On Apr 06, 2015 |
tunlasky:That is ur personal mindset we have APC senators and rep members in South South and South East that gave their best to APC. From ACN to APC in a few years to come Tinubu will impose another new party to your people and u claim it non ethnic and tribe related. Any day una wake up to realise the best way to move Nigeria forward then we begin to called ourselves one Nigeria. A section or group of greedy and lazy people can never ever make us true one people rather a collective agreement by all shareholders in this country. Outside this every individual or group effort on Nigeria and Nigerians shall met frastruation of injustice. No time to pretend. |

Re: Senate: Igbo Senators Lobby APC by Rotimi47: 11:55am On Apr 06, 2015 |
If Ngige or Okorocha were Senators I will support a Igbo APC Senate president but since they are not, an Igbo should not be made a Senate president because they can't eat their cake & have it; let them experience what the Yoruba's have been experiencing without holding a high positions in the senate or house of reps for years: maybe they will learn to stop being trabalist rather Bukola Saraki should be made Senate president or any other dedicated APC member from the Middle belt. Sentiment should be left out or else APC is going to start having issues; check out majority of those that made up Jonathan government! Igbo's but what happened to his govt? It failed due to massive corruption. A word is enough for the wise. |
Re: Senate: Igbo Senators Lobby APC by Hope15: 11:58am On Apr 06, 2015 |
Nnaabros:You must be really pained! For every effect, there's always a cause.......your "dogged" political affiliation in this case is your cause, your loss of sensitive political post is a part effect. Don't come and blackmail us here on the issue of national government, the ruling party has the prerogative in this instance. You guys threw your own dart, and I believe you were ready to damn the consequence. |

Dead on arrival. In fact, let all senators in the south east decamp to APC now, it is already late for them. Senate president is left only for a senator who was with APC during the time of struggle. Not for someone to come rip where he never sow. |

DozieInc: To be frank,we don't need it.(Its not as if the position is not enticing ooh). What we need are good people who can channel our demands to the upper house, a senate president cannot solely move a motion, he must have supporters. So, senate president or not,if u cannot do anything for south-east, then u are as useless as ORUBEBE. |
Re: Senate: Igbo Senators Lobby APC by chat2deen(m): 1:36pm On Apr 06, 2015 |
DozieInc: How? They rejected APC n now wants to enjoy the mandate of APC? Politicians are very selfish and wicked. |
Re: Senate: Igbo Senators Lobby APC by Chigold101(m): 1:58pm On Apr 06, 2015 |
DozieInc:we dont want it because we dont need it. Simple. What are we doing with senate president? It is off no veritable importance. Let APC make a south east person Secretary to the Federal Government (SFG) if APC loves Ndi Igbo. The man that runs the affairs of the nation. The next strongest man after the president. Yes that is the position Ndi Igbo deserve. |
Re: Senate: Igbo Senators Lobby APC by SULBELL(m): 2:24pm On Apr 06, 2015 |
Nnaabros:nobody is telling u who to vote for, it shows how tribalistic ur clans are and by that u shoot urselves in the leg by putting all ur eggggs in one basket. The PDP is now in the minority nd I don't think u were thinking the minority party will produce the senate president just becos we wnt to satisfy some ethnic bigots who out of greed and hatred committed the greatest political blunder of the century. come to think of it, if PDP had won the presidency and the majority in the senate, all ethnics will still have a better representation even the north will be well represented because dy neva put all their eggs in one basket. |
