Ilekeh:Why is it hard for some of you to understand that Lagos is a cosmopolitan city, therefore some of those tribalistic rules can't apply. Non-indigenes in Lagos are a major reason for the massive population and economic advancement of Lagos, so you cannot rule them out in Lagos politics. Lagos is not like the typical Yoruba states like Oyo, Ogun, Osun etc. No Igbo man has a say in the politics of those other states, just like it will be hard for any Yoruba man to have a say in the politics of south eastern states. |

Whether this is wiped under the carpet or not. What this has done is that the insults on Internet has started bearing fruits in the open. Yet who is at the receiving end in all this?. You vote agbaje doesn't make him igbo and he will never align wiv igbos. Where does that leave us? Yorubas who have been very de tribalised are becoming very aware. Just before election something happened at ikotun and if not for timely intervention the Igbo woman would have been beaten and I never imagined that such will happen on a tribal bases. Certain tribes are just meant to be neutral In the affairs of this country considering investments and movements out of their domain. Sadly if wahala starts even we naija deltans will be lumped up together. Yorubas friendship ends at ore. |

IF THE AUDIO CLIP IS VERIFIABLY TRACE TO BE OBA's , THEN AMBODE IS DOOMED Like i said in my earlier post, he has no right to threaten a tribe that resides in Lagos legitimately. Unfortunately most yorubas do not travel out of the yoruba race/ around Nigeria. They would have seen in the East that Igbo race respect and are very hospitable to strangers. All of your brothers that have served ( NYSC ) in the East can bear withness to this. Igbos are independent minded and no amount of Intimidation can make an Igbo man go against his will. He will rather do it and face the consequence. So Oba start to warn the Lagoon from today as the Igbos will enmass vote for Jimi Agbaje, You have only succedded in giving him some more sympathy votes . This is the same damage Fayose and FFK did to GEJ campaign by their unguarded utterences and woe to you if Jimi becomes the next Governor of Lagos. That stool will be too hot for you to sit on. What ever economic decision Lagos Goverment makes here affects every body that resides in Lagos, so you have no right whatsoever to compel me to vote people that have Anti-igbo policies. YOU ARE HAPPY WHEN OBAMA BECAME PRESIDENT OF AMERICA AND MOST OF YOU SAID IT IS GOOD . All these extreme tribalism and bitterness isn't good for our society. What we pray for is good governance from God appointed leaders even as we make our human efforts by voting our choice. No single human being can determine who should rule especially in a democratic society. However we need to bother less about those who insist on dividing us.
