This happens every election period. PDP riles Lagos Ndigbo up and they shout, boast allover the place. At the end of the day APC wins. This election is not going to be different. Even if all Igbos in Lagos vote PDP, APC will still win.

Lagos Ndigbo needs to align with APC now otherwise the disgrace will be too much on Saturday. Ndigbo will be made a laughing stock if they don't align with APC immediately. I don talk am.. Watch this space..

In what may turn out to be one of the significant upsets in this year’s general election, Igbos living in Lagos have made a significant statement by clearing at least two House of Representatives seats out of the five won by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In total, the All Progressives Congress (APC) lost six seats to the opposition in the state. While the PDP cleared five seats, three of which were won by candidates of South-east origin, the Accord Party (AP) won the sixth.

I think this is a divisive strategy by APC to make Lagos state election look more like a tribal election.From what people have been saying in the streets all the while is that they would vote buhari for president and vote Agbaje for governor,infact most yoruba's wanted this and what better way to change the mind of a yoruba man or woman from voting Agbaje than telling him that the Igbos support Agbaje? If you ask me i think everybody should vote whosoever he or she wants cause this is a battle clearly between two Yoruba men and the Igbos have no stake in it.

I have a dream that one day lagos state will be a free land for all and no tribe will be discriminated, I also have a dream that one day an igboman will be a governor in Lagos state. Igbo will vote out APC, we are not slaves to the hausa's. Igbos will determine who win lagos and the OBA and those that support him should go and die in Lagos canal.

Guy, when is Ndigbo going to learn. With Buhari, Okorocha shouted, the rest of Nigeria shouted about GEJ's incompetence, but most Ndigbo were screaming GEJ till 2019. Now SE has lost the Senate presidency and the Speaker position. Buhari won, and Ndigbo came out looking like myopic political neophytes.

Same with Lagos, every 4 years, Ndigbo screams and shout about PDP dethroning APC.. Shout that Lagos is no man's land and the Ndigbo comprise 40% of Lagos, but every single time, APC wins. When will Ndigbo learn to be strategic? It's very saddening..

Come Sunday, Nairaland will be full of threads teasing Ndigbo about being political clowns...

Nooo....Agbaje WAS a good man, till he started playing tribal politics and he has friends like obanikoro, ffk, tewonde bode george e.t.c we don't want them to turn Lagos treasury to PDP ATM.
I don't like Tinubu as he is greedy as well but I will surely pick Tinubu and his candidate over those clowns.

My brother you have to understand what democracy entails.
When you speak to people's issues they are bound to give you there vote and that is democracy.
That was exactly how the presidential election was won.

For E.g the traders at ladipo market have had uncountless problems with the outgoing administration so it is natural to reject there continuity.
And then along comes a man who plays into your issues, explains it to you like his suffers the same with you. Naturally you are prone to lean towards him.

Meanwhile I have many igbo people in property business who pray everyday that Ambode is elected so as retain there already mapped out lands by the outgoing administration.
It is the height of irresponsibility to tell anyone to vote an administration he believes he stands to gain nothing from. It's selfish but that is democracy anywhere in the world.
