Indeed. Remember the adage "Leaders don't create followers, they create more leaders". We all know, to include GEJ's biggest fan, that this can never apply to GEJ yet the adage above fits Tinubu and Buhari like a glove. GEJ is going the way of Odili after May 29th. He will even pretend he is not home if any PDP politicians comes to knock on his door after May 29th which is unlikely anyway since they know his deficiencies to understand it is best not to look towards GEJ for man-management and leadership.
GEJ is surely not blessed with leadership qualities and it's the more reason he failed as a president and lost the election.

The next big question is who will lead PDP to become a good opposition party? I really hope we have a strong opposition PDP because it is the only thing good for our democracy.

Goodluck is Success. Goodluck is always Success. Goodluck is coming back. Goodluck is Godly and so The Lord has set him apart for Himself. Goodluck should stand in awe and sin not. He should, like never before, commence communing with his own heart and be still, offer the sacrifices of righteousness and put his trust in the Lord. PDP will not scatter during his Leadership IJN. So GEJ should come out now and proudly campaign for JK in Lagos, Wike in Rivers, Okowa in Delta and so on. SUCCESS(GOODLUCK) IS COMING BACK!!! This is Democracy. APC can't cope. Let's just wait and see.

I want the PDP to be strong too because one-Party nations are usually riddled with problems caused by the impunity of the ruling Party which knows it can get away with anything and still retain power as was the case with the PDP before the birth of the APC. Sadly, I don't think the PDP can bounce back. GEJ cynically and deliberately destroyed the Party and disenfranchised the North which produced the backbone of the Party.

Now, even the strong men of the Party like Lamido et al may decide it is best to dump PDP, which is now most certainly a regional Party because of the machination of GEJ, for the APC which truly has broad representation and overwhelming executive and legislative strength across all regions bar the SE and SS. The conundrum the PDP will face is the very difficult challenge of the Party retaining its best leaders most qualified to rally others and take the fight to the APC. The PDP never had a Tinubu in the Party but even those that are decent political mobilisers will now leave in my opinion. Ironically, the PDP is now destroyed because it strongest characters did not side with Amaechi, Kwankwaso et al to wrestle power away from opportunist political 'pygmies' like GEJ, Akpabio, Wike et al. Things not looking good for the PDP at all.

The guy really destroyed the PDP because at no stage did he ever think of acting in the interest of what is best for the Party and its long term prospect. Now the PDP, almost overnight, has become a shrivelled and dying plant because of the unbelievable selfishness and callousness of GEJ. Amaechi must be laughing his head off right now. He has helped to end the political career of GEJ while he moves on to bigger and better with an enhanced reputation.

Not only PDP but destroyed to a very large extent the Nigerian nation.

Yes. Very true. GEJ is a callous man but I hope he can really take a good look at himself and how badly he messed up. Tragic.
Re: Jonathan Should Stand Tall And Lead PDP by Gbawe:
I wonder how those who backed GEJ vehemently and sacrificed a lot for him now feel even as some of us insisted he is a self-serving and highly unprincipled opportunist who stands for nothing and will abandon his Party, loyalists and followers once he loses the election. Abeg where is oga GEJ? Spending his loot as I predicted? When we said GEJ is no Atiku or Tinubu and that he would disappear after the election Pa Chukwudi et al were busy claiming the opposite by touting Jonathan "the most influential politician in Nigeria". How far Chukwudi?

Gbawe:
@Topic.

GEJ cannot lead anyone because he is not a leader himself. He is an 'accident' who stumbled into the Presidency. I said it here that GEJ would be the last accidental President Nigeria would have and I have being proven right. The days of OBJ et al imposing dull and unknown 'mumus' on Nigerians is over . Now it is political gladiators and leaders who really want it who will gain the Presidency after besting others on the field of battle. Those asking GEJ to now stand tall to lead the PDP simply do not understand that GEJ is a very simple and small-minded individual who is entirely about his own ambition and nothing else.

In fact after May 29th not much will be heard of GEJ again. He will simply become another Odili by retiring to the background to spend his loot. The PDP will have to look, if any remain, towards its strong and sagacious characters to lead what will be a very difficult rebuilding period for the Party where it went from the ruling Party of Nigeria, with majority in all legislative houses, to an opposition Party with no majority in any legislative house and in control of far fewer Nigerian States than was the case when the Party was at the heights of its power. In fact, I think the PDP is now effectively a regional Party strong only in the SE and SS. This will never be enough to relaunch it towards the centre or towards political relevance and might.
