Stalin wasn't inspired by atheism as, and this may be beyond you, there's no such atheistic dogma. There is such a thing as communism though (or Bolsheviksm, or whatever nonsense he prescribed to), stalism which is built, conveniently for him, around his cult of personality. All these have doctrine and what not. Atheism? No (and BTW, most atheists in the west and around here would consider themselves humanists. I highly doubt that stalin would approve)
