Fashola should go and sit down ojare!

I just listened to him on the telly. He was just trying to whip needless sentiments and hatred.

JK came afterwards. Quality speaks. Iconic speech.

Objective Lagosians prefer Agbaje.

Let no-one try to pull wool over our eyes with faulty logic.

Let's make history with JK as governor.

i judged Jonathan base on his policy impact on my personal life,my family and my unborn generation not because his unfair to my tribe. you didnt get my point. so because Oba insult your tribe you start keeping malice with your yoruba landlord or you divorce your yoruba wife, you fight your yoruba boss. you reject contract and refuse to do business with yoruba man?

my point is the statement as been condemned but you people are over flogging it.

i wont be surprise seeing ohaneza and other Ndigbo group visiting the Oba's palace after election. and guess what? they will all prostrate flat with their red cap grin. (una do thesame for Buhari after election ), stay in your Alaba shop and continue shouting with your Techo phone
You are making a big mistake.

Regardless of whether Agbaje wins or not, the indisputable fact is that JK is a very likable person. He is by far more appealing than Ambode.

He sounds smarter and one may not need to look very far to know that JK will make a quality governor.

The Igbos are not supporting JK because he is in the PDP. Instead the love for Agbaje is that he has such a pleasing personality. It is like Obama whose attraction cuts racial lines.

It is not anybody's fault that JK looks a better candidate than Ambode.

Ten questions to Gov. Babatunde Raaji Fashola (SAN) - Urgent response required.

1. Will Tinubu still continue to control the elected governor ? (You will recollect you performed wonders in your 1st term only to hibernate in your 2nd term)

2. Will APC domesticate the Freedom of Information Bill?

3. Will APC not revert the LASU school fees again ?

4. When will the Light rail project be completed after many failed promises ?

5. Will there be transparency on Alpha Beta tax consulting activities ?

6. Will you be able to now build a home that is affordable to an average Lagosian and not to the few elites in the society ?

7. What is APC & Ambode plans on all hinterland roads your administration could not attend to in the past eight years?

8. Will you increase or reduce the tax burden of Lagosians ?

9. Will APC now compel all LG and LCDA chairpersons to be accountable to the electorate?

10. Will APC now compel elected representatives both federal and state to now be accountable to the electorate?

Your sincere response and feedback to the above would go a long way.

Thank you.

Are you voting for who talks better or who is more COMPETENT and EXPERIENCED, all JK knows how to do is talk. It's a pity his talking could not help him grow his pharmacy from one branch since 1983.

The question you need to answer -

1. Will Agbaje rule with independence from these ex-convits - Ogunlewe, Bode George, Obanikoro etc?

2. What is stopping PDP administration to implement the recommendation of the last forum attended by all tribes and states despite having Federal Power with majority in the house?

3. Why did FG increased school fees in all the FG owned institutions, and why did we experienced the longest strike in history under PDP despite the removal of subsidy?

4. For how long will it take PDP to give us at least a brand new train in Nigeria just like SA and other African countries?

5. Why is JOnathan still advocating for tax increment in the eleventh hour?

6. Can you pinpoint affordable houses PDP has built for lagosians in the last 16 years of ruling despite being one of the highest tax generating state?

7. What has PDP achieved in developing other means of transportation other than land means in Lagos for the past sixteen years?

8. With agitation on the part of Jonathan to increase tax, will Agbaje increase or decrease tax in Lagos?

9. Has PDP chairmen elected on the platform of PDP accountable to electorates in the last sixteen years?

10. Can you show us how PDP has compelled elected representatives both federal and state to now be accountable to the electorates?

Your sincere response and feedback to the above would go a long way.

Nigeria needs to work on a system of checks and balances for public offices so there wont always be so much anxiety over political officials and recurring elections.

The office is not supposed to be a reflection of the office holder, but rather, the office holder should be a reflection of the office.

If things were the latter, almost every state in Nigeria would be performing at the level of Gov Fashola.

Now that's more like it. There is really no winner in a game of hatred, only temporal victories and permanent scars. I commend the Igbo leaders for this gesture, hopefully their followers will shelve their provocative arrogance in the interest of peace. No doubt,
the Oba has also learnt a lesson in public conduct and speaking. Let the healing begin.
