Came back from class this afternoon, i was very hungry,i could feel the worms in my stomach grooming to devour anything that passes through my throat.

I decided to try something different for the remaining days of the week since rice took the whole of last week till this morning.

I selected the dirt from the beans and introduced it into the pot of water i had placed on the stove earlier. Gbam! (na so i enter wahala ooo)

I waited almost two hours and yet there was no sign of softening (beans of life).....

I quickly rushed to a nearby restaurant to eat fufu as i could no longer wait for the beans...

NEXT!

Anywayz, I don't like beans at all so not my biz.

You must have added salt to it while it was still hard. Doing that will guarantee it remains hard no matter how long u boil it. Next time add every other ingredient except salt. Salt is added last when ur beans have become softened.

Maybe cos of beans addicts like u dat eat the percentage we refuse to eat.
But I stillk like rice and beans. But not beans on its own

The best way to cook beans without sweat is boiling it untill it's soft befor adding ingredents...if you add ingredents before it's soft it might take 6months to cook.

I guess adding onions can make it get soften quickly.

if ur using a pressure cooker just boil for 30mins with opening the pot..it'll be soft but if you add ingredents it'll neva get soft

Never get tired of eating it that's why I don specialize for the cooking.

Next time don't add your ingredients immediately you start boiling the beans. Wait till your beans is almost soft.

My method of cooking beans..

Put d beans in d pot add water 2 it n allow 2 boil. Wen it starts boiling, u bring down n drain d water away wit a sieve.

Put d beans in d pot again then add fresh water n allow 2 cook. Dis method soften d beans very quickly. Try it op n tnk me lerra

It is,u don't put salt in beans till its cooked. Infact its only onions I put wen it stats boiling. All oda ingredient I add wen the beans is soft and don't put the salt b4 seasoning o cos it might become too salty

That is exactly how I cook my beans as well.
