GodMode: I hope you are today living with the same pre - colonial history and the same houses and investment in the days when the Brits arrived. Good to know that while Igbos are busy in all cities of the country investing and developing it in Businesses, you are busy sitting down laying claim and telling us the events of 120 years ago, just to proof point. BTW we are not talking about what is sustaining the economy because on that area Igbos stand out also, but here we are talking about manpower, human development, investment etc. You and your kinsmen can equally go to Aba or Owerri and invest instead of sitting down and laying claim of who own Lagos or not 3 Likes 1 Share |

I really do not see all the sense in all these brouhaha brewing on this forum. Some thoughts though: It's a fact that Lagos is a Yoruba State; take it or leave it. We have regions tagged with their ethnicity: Yorubaland, Igboland, Hausaland etc. It is possible the same way we have within the United Kingdom: England, Ireland, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man. No English man will say he is confident in himself enough to encroach on a Scot's land and not be attacked. Stop saying all that my Igbo brothers, Lagos is not "No man's land" it belongs to the Yorubas first before it belongs to the rest of us. The tribes of Nigeria are actually nations. Nigeria is just a Nation-State housing us all. If you do not believe me, go read international relations. You are in Lagos, make it work as though you own it but not be subversive tendencies. The major actors involved in this potboiler from the outset have possibly made up by now and the rest of us are going around with drums of war. Nigerians, please grow up. 3 Likes |

linusbnn:If Nigeria even divides, do you think the Niger Delta will want to be with the igbos? Think again...you guys glued GEJ and its because of his association with you that built the hatred. Gej was loved like crazy in 2011 then you guys came with your tricky association and made him to be hated by majority in the North...... Go for your Biafra but leave us out of it....if we want to separate, we will be on our own and not with the igbos....But we don't want to separate bevause we believe we are stronger as a nation..if you people want to form Biafra, go ahead but leave Niger Delta alone....we are in the same country, but we are not igbos!!!..even the igbos speaking parts of Delta, Rivers and Cross rivers will tell you straight that they are not igbos!!!!... Its not hate but its not a favourable association.... 1 Like |

mirakuru: Yoruba man created this platform and so what? . So the platform should be reserved only for Yoruba lads or if others like Igbos comment then it should be censored. Again you expose another level of hypocrisy and tribalism which people like you are known for. And you don't engage in bad business. Oh yes every Igbo man who is successful is into bad business? . Again your true colour and those bigots you represent being exposed. We can also say every Yoruba man who cannot be creative and hardworking business minded like Igbos is because ALL successful business serve discomfort to mankind. Sorry you are backward 2 Likes |
