LordExecutioner:Lmao..let them try nau...they can't even dare...the SS people know them tick and thin so they don't give them that chance. How can a tribe be so arrogant and unnecessarily proud .....there's nothing like 'humility' in the igbo dictionary....Even among core igbo states, they despise themselves and pride kills them. You will see Anambrans saying they can't marry from Abia, enugu or imo. They will say they are the true igbos that they don't want to dilute their blood..... Naaaansense blood!!!!,....Arrogance and backwardness even among their graduates! |

frank442:No one is saying that Lagos can develop without foreigners, but when foreigners start becoming a nuisance in their host city/country, it becomes irritating. Every right thinking person knows the king erred with his statement, but abusing him wouldn't solve the problem. He wouldn't apologise to anyone, because he is a king, so people have come on his behave to apologise. Igbos are being played by PDP and the end result wouldn't be palatable either way. They should just wise up and foresee the repercussions of this feud. |

LordExecutioner:See hw u took so many line to express ur foolishness and daftness. U even mentioned the context and gave an american example dat is clearly different from dis context. U talk abt naturalization and citizenship (obviously refering to individuals from other nations) who migrated to the US when we are talking about ibos (Nigerians) who migrated to lagos (still Nigeria). Can the governor of say Texas claim to be host to a Washington citizen and call him a visitor in texas??So really, hw foolish do u feel nw that u've known dis ![]() |

rudedough:::-- If we are in the same country, why are some of our people clamouring for Biafra. Nna! both Ambode and JK are yoruba, why do we want to kill ourselves for them? We are not in a country but, a contraption. These people and their Aboki friends have been rotating the seat, even, Ijaw people have produced the president when will an Ibo man be the president of this old British abracadabra? Bone Lagos, face Aso villa but, are the Ndigbos united? Peace... |

datalossvictim1:Igbo land is landlocked but there are ports in Calabar, Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Delta. Igbos dominated Jona's gov and your people should have negotiated with SS to develop those ports but the never did. They just kept stealing and shouting SE/SS everywhere like bleating cows. Now that SE/SS has ended, I don't think they will want Igbos near those ports. You can't be from SE and SS. You are yibhoe, a completely different tribe. |

It is a well known fact that you don't dictate to anyone how to make his coffee. Lagos belongs to the Yoruba just like Enugu Belongs to Igbo but trust igbo to always want to control any place they find themselves in. this sort of situation is exactly what Sir Ahmadu Bello was talking about in his speech about the igbo tribe I am not Yoruba nor Igbo |

GodMode:Thanks for the fact that most old Lagos Yorubas sold their properties and moved abroad. ..... probably sold to more business minded groups. ....... Hey bros Igbos are also in abroad. No no no stop giving excuse. Get rid of the fear factors. You or any Yoruba man can equally invest and develop any part of Nigeria and call it your home and nobody has right to dispute that. I as an Igbo man with no British heritage can call London my home and no white man can dispute that as far as my British passport and proof of work and residency is concerned how much more anyone born and raised in Lagos whose family has worked and invested there for years irrespective of ethnic origin. Oba of Lagos is a loser |

Achilies:Salient points. Let's remember we have a place we call home. Invest in the east. Cause no matter how long you live and invest in another man's land you will forever be a foreigner. Certain previlages will allude always you. Make no mistake about it: Lagos is NOT our land. The earlier this fact sinks in the better for us all. |
