Nigerians will never learn. How can a sane being in naija ever think it is safe to get a house help from the internet when we cannot buy and pay for goods online for the fear of being scammed. that's why they deliver b4 we pay. I pity the children, look at the suffering a parent let's their children go tru just Becos of wat? extra freedom or wat? Becos I believe the parents have been taking care of the children all this while. I pray they come back unharmed. Parents be warned, do not entrust the life of your family to some stranger, the times are different. Manage and take care of your children. too much of child kidnap/rituals.

I've seen some dumb things in my time but placing your children in the hands of OLX....sell it!!! (stop na abeg, sorry...)

how do you do that? Even in advanced countries these portals are used and they also experience fraud, google facebook etc, are used, just be extra careful when you deal and what you deal with.

but am sure the people condemning the parents are the ones that have resigned to faith cos they couldnt get a job

You don't get it, when all you see from page 1 to 10 are scams, mehn it is damn much.

Note, you mentioned social networks. That's a different case. Also, they are not usually that much there cause they fish them and wipe them out regularly.

For your information, there are many mothers who had to resign from their jobs so they can be available for their children. So please its not always the case that they couldn't get a job. Truth is that times have changed. We hear of even cases of child abuse because some parent somewhere left their little ones to some individual because of some job. We hear all sorts. I am a parent myself. If husband works from morning to night, then wife can run a business or something like that. There is always a way. We are all learning. By God's grace, those children will be found in Jesus name.

SHE NOW WANTS 13 MILLION NAIRA

After initially demanding for 15 million Naira, the househelp who ran off with the 3 Orekoya boys has demanded for 13 million Naira, threatening to kill the kids if it's not produced within 48 hours.
According to Punch, the victims’ father, Leke, told our correspondent that the family received a text message from the kidnappers on Friday afternoon, saying the children’s life depended on the payment of the ransom within 24 hours of the ultimatum. Although, this was later reviewed to 48 hours.

“They said we should produce the money in 24 hours or they would ‘delete’ our kids.Our major concern is our 11 months old baby who needs extra care.” the fathers said....
