John 3: 16 For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son............. I do not know if this thread was opened just to argue blindly... Jesus is God..! Yes Who was made king in heaven by the father, he is the father of salvation hence u can call him the father of salvation but he is not the almighty God Jehovah.... The holy spirit is God's active force....? An entity that shows the presence of the almighty God so he is one with God but isn't the almighty God.... Jesus Christ was made king in heaven, hence he is God but not the almighty God.. Jehovah is the almighty God Jesus is the son of the almighty God, he can also be called mighty God.... Anyone that says Jesus Christ is the same as God the Father is not a true christian and may not make heaven at last ,unless he reads his bible regularly with d help of d Holy Spirit. There are too many places and verses in the bible that show clearly that Jesus Christ is not God Almighty the Father. Jesus Christ is God and he is also Almighty God , the Alpha and Omega ,the beginning and the end because he is the Son of God the Father who is also The Almighty , the Alpha and Omega who is greater than the Lord Jesus. Let us read : Revelation 3:3-5, 12-22 KJV Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Do not accept satanic messages that makes d Muslims to be confused and not to accept Jesus. Jesus prayed to God for Lazarus to come alive. And so THE ONE HARD TRUTH THAT THE WORLD CANT ACCEPT is that, "the person Jesus is the person the Father". Well you are right, forget about the world, Christians don't accept that the persons Jesus is the person the Father, Christians accept that Jesus and the Father is God. The Word became the person Jesus Christ, the Father God did not become the person Jesus Christ. The Son is Jesus Christ, the Father is God, two persons, One God. An2elect2 said that "God is no other but Jesus Christ" When I said "is the Father God also?" she replied "Yes He is", and so she contradicted herself, there is another who is God, the Father also is God, and Christians agree with that. When I said "Then besides Jesus Christ, the Father also is God"? she wouldn't answer, I guess that's because it would show that two persons are God, even though she already said they were both God, but want's to stick to her false belief that Father and Son are not two persons. She said "God is no other but Jesus Christ" and after she said, God is the father. And she went on to say "the Father is also the saviour, the Christ". Well Christians knows that the Father isn't the Christ, the Word became the Christ Jesus, with God being the Father. She is wrong and confused and you support her in your error and confusion. |

Bingbagbo and Johnw74 you have got it all wrong. It appears that you cannot come to terms with the truth from the Bible. There has always been a one person Almighty God. The scriptures teach of a true God - YHWH, and the son of YHWH - Jesus christ. History tells us that: The Divinity of christ was not taught in the synagouges in jerusalem during the time of jesus, neither did the apostles teach or write anything about it after jesus. It was established by the church in 325 AD. There is and has always been one God, the most high. The fact that Jesus was called a Mighty is not an indication that he is part of a Godhead. The system of having more than one persons in a God is actually od pagan origin. Consider paul's words to the corinthians: 1 Corinthians 8:5-6 New International Version (NIV) 5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), 6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. If it was really so that Jesus is God exactly the same way his father is God, then paul would undoubtedly have explained it clearly in this passage. But he makes a difference both in person and in position of Jesus and Jehovah, he differentiates Almighty God from his son Jesus. Regarding God he said: "whom all things came and for whom we live." We owe our very existence to Almighty God, Jehovah. And as regards Jesus he said:" through whom all things came and through whom we live." Jesus is the medium through which we were created. Interestingly, jesus couldn't have made this comment if he were God just like his father. In John 17:3 jesus says: "this means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus christ. Again he shows the difference between himself and his father by saying that the father is "the only true God." There are a lot of passages in scripture that shows jesus as a lower spirit creature compared to his father and God, Jehovah. Consider John 20:17. Interestingly, Jesus said these words after he had been resurrected. This indicates that contrary to the reasoning of people that jesus was God's son only while he was human on earth, he actually is God's only-begotten son and creature of God wether he is on earth or in heaven. In john 20:17, jesus says: "stop clinging to me, for I have not yet ascended to the father. But go to my brothers and say to them, I am ascending to my father and your father and to my God and your God." It clearly shows jesus' position. How someone can read all these scriptures that shows jesus position and still stick to a few selected so called 'proof' text is ridiculously myopic, in my opinion. 1 Like |
