OP, your Write up too long, this is an online forum not a newspaper. Edit your cut and paste next time but thanks for raising awareness.

If you smoke, go to bed without brushing, eat late at night, eat smelly food, smoke weed or have poor dentition then assume you have smelly breath. Few people will tell you your breath stinks but you will become a pariah no one wants to talk to or kiss if they can help it.

Help yourself by drinking water regularly, small sips taken regularly during the day not gallons gulped down in paranoia. Stop smoking period! It leads to bad breath, gum disease and rotting teeth. Always brush your teeth on waking in the morning and importantly at bedtime. If you can't brush after each meal at least use dental floss or chewing gum briefly, to dislodge food wedged between your teeth and freshen breath. Don't spend the whole day frantically chewing gum smiley , if paranoid brush your teeth properly and use a good mouth wash, it doesn't have to be harsh to be effective.
When brushing if gums bleed this is usually a sign of gum disease and proper brushing technique and mouth wash with regular flossing should soon stop the problem.

Teach your children to brush properly from an early age and supervise them regularly. If they have teeth, can talk and hold a brush it is time to start learning to brush.

If your breath stinks ask yourself what else about you stinks? Are you neglecting personal hygiene in general.

Lastly check your own breath, breath into your cupped hands held over mouth and nose. If you think your breath smells terrible so does the rest of the world!

Have a nice day and please don't forget to brush

The only solution to mouth odor is by
#Visiting your dentist to remove those rotten teeth or refill them
#Brushing you tongue properly, the odor comes from your tongue.
#Emptying your bowl. Make sure you go to toilet every morning, sometimes the odor comes right from the stomach.
#Brush your teeth every morning & before you go to bed at night

I really need to share this with my cousin and if possible take him to see a dentist. Any idea on how much a thorough dental polishing would cost?
Also I was wondering,
Could gum disease also result in this condition?

Don't brush immediately after eating. Wait about an hour before brushing. If you can, brush about after one hour or more after breakfast, NOT before it, and after an hour or more after dinner.

Telling a person they have halitosis is usually the hardest part of the whole process, especially if they didn't have it from the time you met and developed it along the way.

Yes, gum disease could also cause halitosis, and the cost of doing a Scaling & Polishing at a Private Dental Practice could range from about =N=8,000 to =N=12,000 (apart from cost of Registration and Consultation) if you are paying cash and not using your HMO card, but less expensive at Dental Clinics in government hospitals.

Excessive mouth odour is not an excuse. Brush your teeth as often as possible(not forgetting tongue brushing). Chew gum to maintain normal pH balance and open month @ interval to allow cross wind.
NB: All dependent on the level of odour(apply method accordingly).

There is no direct relationship between both conditions, though both can exist side by side.

If however, there's a discharge from the ear(s), an offensive odour from there could be mistaken by some people as coming from the mouth, until the right location is found on closer scrutiny.

My bad breath is soo much that i now stink to myself. I have disorganised teeth pattern which also made having friends worst. I brush 3 times a day and floss as much as possible yet the odour will even increase with profuse bleeding. All the girls i have managed to get as friends all left me for no reason which i am sure must be due to the chronic mouth odour and dental misformation. The worst part is that i am sooo poor to see a dentist i cant afford the fee. Please help a self esteem depreciating nigga before its too late.
