cocokiller1: Crap. Was Amaechi running for any office? He is on his way to abuja and expect the same way wike terrorised him with shepopotamus help to happen to wike also. Any undoing from him, efcc/ icpc will be unleashed. By the way, expect also that NDDC will be swept clean from pdp cohorts in favour of Amaechi's cohorts. That's a big blow for pdp considering that it's a major fat cow for them now in APC's hand. Ministers of the federal republic from the state, federal agencies, board of parastatal etc, Amaechi's cohorts. As the days turns to months and turns to years, Apc will continue to get stronger, shepo and pdp either remain stagnant or depreciate. Future is surely brighter for Amaechi no doubt. |

phantom: On point. Wike was Obiakpor chair and we knew the havoc he caused in here. Only his thugs had good things to say about him. He went to education ministry and his highlights was to sack the entire Nigerian lecturers. What magic does he want to perform? |

The hands of the clock is now back to the zero hour, when Wike will take the mantle of River state as an opposition party. Amaechi 'll be elevated to F.G official post and I trust APC, they will surely compensate peterside. U can all sit back and watch as scenarios are been unfolded in the forthcoming years. River state people will now feel what it takes to have a Governor who is not in thesame party with the F.G. Ask Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Lagos state in 2003... Tinubu vs Obasanjo saga. Ask Gov Aregbesola of Osun state what he is facing now. Hmmmmmmn! U can come back and ask Wike of how market is going in few years time. It's just a pay back time for Amaechi! If he is as cruelsome as Wike, he will just stay at Abuja and be victimising Wike with the help of F.G, just as mama peace and wike did to him. |

Neyoor: Wellsaid. Every kobo that goes to wike from the centre, amaechi will be in the know. Wike will be heavily scrutinised and be on constant watch. He will have immunity but not his thugs. It's only the extremely foolish that will think that Amaechi has been punished . How? He wasn't even contesting for any office. |

cocokiller1: U are no kid I guess. There are surely some things that are indisputable. Do u expect pdp cohorts to continue to hold sway on NDDC their fat cow? Do u expect wike to determine for buhari who he appoints on behalf of rivers as minister. A strategically political blow? Do u expect wike to determine to buhari indigenes of rivers who wants favour in the oil industry? If ministry of ND should remain, will wike opinion matter? If buhari decides to continue with militants payments, who is wike to determine who gets what? Instead, he should be focus in making sure his political house doesn't crumble on him. Already i perceive defections in his fold. |

Dem dem.... You get time to dey explain give these people. If care is not taken, wike will still crawl on his belly to amaechi. Regardless of what anybody thinks, amaechi is the go-to guy for Niger delta appointments at the federal level. That PDP structure in rivers can be crumbled from aBuja. We talk as if political interests do not guide the politics of today |

| Re: Rivers Election- Wike Takes Charge by phantom(m): 11:53am On Apr 12, 2015 |
GenIgrigi:o please! .....on the contrary,I am just for continuity of good leadership. Anybody who says amaechi has not done well as Governor is being dishonest |
| Re: Rivers Election- Wike Takes Charge by GenIgrigi: 12:00pm On Apr 12, 2015 |
phantom:**grins** Good leadership that has thrown Rivers into turmoil. Is there anyday that passes without loss of human lives due to politically-motivated killings?. People are currently moving out of rivers due to its volitility which is attributable to Amaechi's empowerment of thugs and cultists. Shine ya eyes bros. |
| Re: Rivers Election- Wike Takes Charge by Demdem(m): 12:28pm On Apr 12, 2015 |
cocokiller1:yes NDDC is functional and till date a fat cow constantly being slaughtered by PDP members. That source of their togetherness will surely be taken away from them. Parade don change. |

[s] GenIgrigi:[/s] We knew what Rivers was before Amaechi became Governor. We knew how the state was militarised and citizens had to raise up their hands when walking in Public. We knew how land owners extorted us indiscriminately. Amaechi came in and dismantled all these and a new order was put in place. The turmoil currently being experienced in Rivers isnt because of Amaechis incompetence (he has done it before and he has what it takes to do it again) but the undermining of his authority from the center. Amaechi is known to chase and hunt down thugs. The thugs u see out there are wikes. The same set of people he unleashed during his cursed era in Obiakpor. |

Demdem:Chairman of the most notorious LGA in Nigeria, I just pray it is not true. Most of these noise makers don't know that man. Amaechi means development to rivers people, Wike means thuggery for rivers people. Under Wike, Obiakpor was the second wealthiest LGA after etiosa but has the worst roads. Even bursary, Wike fought with students. |

I can only read about crying and jubilation. You guys should calm dawn, no govt or politician is/going there for the mass. They have their pocket in mind. I don't know Wike other than he was once a minister or something but the last time I went to PH(Jan 2013) I saw many uncompleted projects which are yet to be completed as at today( 2 yrs after) and you guys still sing praises to the guy that is over seeing this uncompleted projects that has lasted for almost 4 years. My take is Wike is as bad as any other politician in Nigeria. Non is for us and that does not stop them from throwing some left over sometimes to make us feel a little good which is working for them. For jubilant, don't expect much to avoid disappointment tomorrow which is very obvious. |
