Herrera has been a remarkable signing. He might be different from what Manchester United fans are used to because he does not put in the running and fighting work of Paul Scholes.

However, his short little passes that keeps the possession is key to the system flourishing.

His partnership with Mata is also a key to this teams success.

Note, Herrera puts in work by reading the play of games and intercepting the ball.

That is what makes Fellaini thick in this side and a reason why a like-for-like midfielder in Fernando should be introduced.
