There have been citizen reports that Babajide Obanikoro, son of Musiliu Obanikoro and House of Assembly candidate was caught passing out cash to citizens at polling units in Eti-Osa, one of Lagos’s 774 local government.


After much contention from the electorate he was taken in by officials. Obanikoro was seen being escorted by policemen to the local station.

Obanikoro is hoping to represent the Eti-Osa Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly as a member of the People’s Democratic Party.  He ran for the same seat in 2011 and lost.

Just keep quiet. The Igbos chose the path they want to tread and they will enjoy whatever comes out of it. Yorubas do not hate them. Yorubas cannot say they want to have a commissioner in South East or a member of the House of REP. They have that in LAGOS. If they are not satisfied the they can go back to their villages.
