Concentrate on truck pushing. Its the only thing I think you do well
Well, even with my truckpushing profession I'm far way better informed than your poor asss that waits on Aso Rock to run a popular Government for you to survive. grin grin

Re: Buhari Will Reduce Fuel Price To N40 Per Litre — David-West by 989900:
It is doable.

1. The Naira appreciates say in the N100-N140/dollar band.

2. We get our existing refineries functioning at near full capacity, while getting new ones on board.

3. Gov't might still need to subsidize that, but then we'll know that's some genuine, and worthy subsidy.

Questions:

If NNPC owns roughly half of every barrel of crude lifted, how much would it cost NNPC/barrel?

What is the production cost of a litre of refined products?

How much is the Gov't paying in subsidy presently, per litre of refined products?

How much is the Gov't losing (by-products-wise) by not refining locally?

If this happens, I will hero worship him. I currently spend N30,000-N45,000 on fuel per month and I don't find it funny. Imagine that been reduced to N8,000 per month for me.

It better be true oo. David-west you have risen my hope. Buhari will forever become an hero if he reduces pump prices and fix our electricity.

Fix these two and others will auto fix themselves. Inflation will reduce, companies will make more money meaning their workers will automatically make more money too thereby reducing the proverty level. Reduce the property level and people will have more money to eat healthy thereby increasing our life span.

This will also lead to the growth of small and medical scale enterprises which will also lead to more empployment.

GOD, it be better be true.
Imagine you don't even have to fuel a generator.

it will take something phenomenal to bring the price of commodities lower than what they are. Our quest for wealth as against love for our fatherland will hardly make this happen. But seriously, GEJ messed this country up. With feul at #97 domestically and over $80 in the international market without building a single refinery is sheer wickedness on his part. History won't forgive him.
no,realy....we were already strugglelin....with gej,we have to struggle double...such an clueless idiat... angry angry angry

In the plethora of 1984,oil prices slumped from around $30 to about $14 (53% drop),Buhari at that time did not reduce the pump price of petrol.

Nairaland political analysts in support of the infamous Tam david west thread..Sosongo ,Éseun, Nagode ,Nago, Asante, Obulu, Woruru, Nua, Ayan, Grazie, Adupe, Ovwan ke obiruo, Uwe ese, Msugh wer, Woshi, Shukriya, Daalu, Merci

Like you rightly said,

Fuel is now N25 as the N40 tam david west spoke about was bogus, infact fuel stations now bring fuel to us at our home. Naira is equal to dollar now, flew to newyork and back all at a cost under N150,000. Houses are so cheap, i had to stop building and start buying, am on the 7th duplex now.

You have done well, my pay scale was reviewed 500%, had to quit as setting up a coy and running a business in this government is the next best thing after sliced bread.
