I am not a political fanatic neither am I a member of any party. I vote anyone I see fit for me and one who is capable.
In 2011, I voted for Goodluck Jonathan but this year, I voted Buhari. These are the reasons:

1. Billions have been spent on power sector but as I am writing this, I have not seen light in our area for 7 days and yet we are paying high bills. During the elections, it was worse.

2. People keep saying Buhari is bad and that he is wicked but none have said any genuine thing that is worth it. All they tell me is that he killed a drug dealer: but may I ask, are we suppose to sell fake drugs and substance of abuse? I bought one fake drug last week after I was down with typhoid fever, but I found out it was fake after taking it for 3 good days.
So tell me why will I not vote someone who can deal with them? May Dora Akunyili find rest where she is, because she did well for Nigerians in terms of drugs too.

3. They reasons they were giving me was that he is a muslim and I should choose a christian. Well, I say it without fear that the christians are a disgrace to us. They have looted the most money and they always have the worse government.

4. Petroleum was increase due to removal of subsidy, what translated into SURE-P, but the billions gotten from sure-p has no effect around me.

5. Our Governor refuse paying workers for 5months. He chase some workers who have evidence and letter of appointments all in the name of the phrase 'ghost workers' and yet the so called President did not talk even when the people were crying out to him to stop the imposition of another candidate from the gov's kindred. Yet the president still did not do anything. And so it happened that both the president and the imposed candidate failed. I am from Plateau in case you are contemplating.
6. They president thought the governors were more important than the electorate and so he did not listen to us but rather harkened to what they governor told him that he will give him 2million votes as if the governor has 2million spirits.

7. I only hear of transformation agenda but I have not seen one thing. Had it been goodluck concentrated on just power or just education or just internet, I would have thank him forever. But he ended up not doing anything. See how we had the worse strike epidemic ever, almost every sector went on strike during Ebele's tenure. From Tanker drivers, to ASUU, to Polytechnics, it was just Police that did not go on strike as some Soldiers went on MUTINY.

8. Goodluck is so weak for a leader, and he calls that as being gentle. Everybody can just steal billions anytime and he would come out to say that stealing is not corruption.
9. Billions of naira were stolen and yet he can not even account for it.

10. I paid the highest amount of money in web-Hosting during Ebele's tenure all in the name of fall of naira.

Anyway let's keep our fingers crossed. You never can tell, Buhari might be that messiah we've been waiting for.

Just in case
Re: n by Nobody: 2:28pm On Apr 19, 2015
So, what should we do with those reasons after buhari has won? Are we to re-vote him again? Don't you think this is just plain disipient without more? We should be looking forward to seeing buhari bettering the feats of the last administration and making good on his myriad of promises among which was to 'stabilise world oil price'. And not this you put up there.

Nairaland threads, you know, just hit 2,000,000. Be kind and spare me the sweat of digging for the good threads in nairaland...
