Is the OP or any of his type expecting an "overnight miracle"?

There is nothing new in what the president-elect has said.

He has simply said "be patient with us, we will deliver". He hasn't said "the problems are too many, we cannot solve them".

So, enemies of progress, what's your point?
He asked for "enough time" and my innocent question is this: How much time is considered "enough? 1 year? 2 years? 4 years? 8 years? Maybe you can help me with an answer.

"Enough" means however long it takes to rescue Nigeria from the deep, dark dungeons that the clueless administration of the past 6 years took it into.

Nigeria is once again on its path to greatness. We will work with our amiable general to make it work. The criminals who want to maintain status quo will be locked up.

I doubt their would ever be a vote out, I feel the ACN turned APC we all know are Masters in forgery, rigging and manipulation of election results, coupled with huge ability on media lies, fabrications and propagandas.

I sense a major Revolution on the way, APC antecedent is not democratic and we doubt they will ever allow any fair play like Jonathan's administration.

Only time shall tell.

Peace.
That's actually my fear oh! I once told someone here on NL that once APC grabs power, whether they perform or not, we won't be able to vote them out. They may end up ruling for over 20 years since they've devised means of controlling the media, involving oil seeking desperadoes from other countries, painting all their bad/woes as good and painting all PDP's good as bad.

We ain't practicing politics in Nigeria, rather we're practicing Bigotry/tribalism.

So if it would take 100 years for Buhari to solve our problems nko? You think Nigerians will be gullible enough to wait that long?

ATTENTION ALL APC FAITHFULS!!

THERE ARE PLANS TO POISON GMB!!

Dear Uncle, the news today that President Goodluck Jonathan will hand over power to the President-elect, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on May 28, at a dinner and a vision by Dr. Moshood Fayemiwo relayed since April 2, 2015 from Chicago about possible food poisoning of Buhari if he visits Aso Rock, looks and sounds too coincidental for comfort.
Very instructive in Dr. Fayemiwo's vision was the fact that he said he saw clearly that Buhari will be invited to Aso Rock on the pretext of hand over ceremony, during which he will be killed. And because Buhari has not been sworn-in, which constitutionally was to take place on May 29th, therefore, Pro. Yemi Osinbajo, the Vice President-elect cannot be sworn-in to take over.
That leaves a power vacuum that will ordinarily call for interim government and Jonathan, who by now has been gathering goodwill on account of his acceptance of the election results, will be asked to fill the position.
Please Uncle, get to reach the APC hierarchy to STOP Buhari from attending the dinner. He has waited for 12 years to get to the post, 24 hours to Friday May 29th surely is not long to wait.

Let every APC faithful post this on his/her wall! Please share

We only hope that APC would be fair enough to be truthful and sincere with Nigeria under their watch?

We demand accountability and transparency from APC.

How much will 1km of road construction becomes under APC lead FG? It used to be 1km = 1Bn in Lagos & SW before the application of inflation rate. (1km = 1.2Bn) all contract given to the grandmaster.

Nigerians can no longer be taken for a free ride, so, tell Buhary to talk less and act more.

Nigerians are watching.

Shalom!

95% of those complaining here did not vote for him when he said he would solve our problems overnight. Even after he said he was going to end boko haram or make 1 naira equal to 1 dollar, you all still went ahead and voted for Jonathan. So shut the he1l up, you have no right to complain even if buhari says he will take forever.

Re: Buhari Appeals To Nigerians For Enough Time To Deliver Promises by Vikkie14:
By the STANDARD Jonathan was assessed for 4years, same STANDARD will Buhari be weighed.
Infact, frankly speaking, Buhari's performance will be "assessed" in 2years coz people really trust his promises and are looking forward to their fulfillment. Something we failed to notice is that Nigerians want a Quick, Instantanous, Immediate Solution to their woes. Nigerians want every thing to be on a FAST LANE. So, they will be so keen and watch Buhari closely in his first 2years. Their assessment of 2years of Buhari's tenure will be the yardstick by which his government will be "Accepted" or "Rejected" if he try to contest for second term.
As we wait for him to take over, let's get our hands crossed and sit on our mat with our pop corn and coke by our side as we watch his government unfold.

With SAME measure Jonathan is assessed will Buhari be assessed.

God bless Nigeria
God bless Nigerian Military
God bless Nigerians
God bless Nairalanders

Enough time - what time is actually enough? GEJ got ridiculed from late 2012, and that was when most Nigerians lost hope in his government. This was less than 2 years.
