If the Christians and the Jews look at how the prophets had prayed in the torah and the gospel, they will find themselves praying like Muslims. Now we will compare the prayer of the Muslims with the prophets in the bible.. Let us begin: -Muslims (those who submit to the will of God) perform ablution (wash) before prayer. Then David arose from the earth and washed and anointed himself and changed his clothes. And he went into the house of the LORD and worshiped (Samuel 12:20) They shall wash their hands and their feet (Exodus 30:21) 31with which Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet. (Exodus 40:31) -The first position of prayer, Muslims lift up their hands palms out at the side of the head 4So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands. (Psalm 63:4) And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God, and all the people answered,(A) “Amen, Amen,”(B) lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshiped the LORD with their faces to the ground.(Nehemiah 8:6) -Muslims while lifting up their hands proclaim: “God is Great” Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised in the city of our God! His holy mountain, (Psalm 48:1) – when the Muslims pray, they fell on their faces. Then Abram fell on his face. And God said to him (Genesis 17:3) Then Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the entrance of the tent of meeting and fell on their faces. And the glory of the LORD appeared to them, (Numbers 20:6) Then Joshua tore his clothes and fell to the earth on his face before the ark of the LORD (Joshua 7:6). When all the people of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the LORD on the temple, they bowed down with their faces to the ground (2 chronicles 7:3) And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God, and all the people answered,(A) “Amen, Amen,”(B) lifting up their hands.(C) And they bowed their heads and worshiped the LORD with their faces to the ground.(Nehemiah 8:6) Jesus praying to God: ”And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed ”( Matthew 26:39) Even Jesus’ disciples submitted as Muslims: “When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were terrified”( Matthew 17:6) And Elijah went up to the top of Mount Carmel, And he bowed himself down on the earth and put his face between his knees.(1 kings 18: 42 ) And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, (Revelations 7:11) Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker! (Psalm 95:6) All the prosperous of the earth eat and worship; before him shall bow all who go down to the dust ( Psalm 22:29) Now Manoah and his wife were watching, and they fell on their faces to the ground. (Judges 13:20) And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and said, “The LORD, he is God; the LORD, he is God. ”( 1 kings 18:39) David rose from beside the stone heap and fell on his face to the ground( 1 Samuel 20: 41) And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped (Joshua 5:14) When Abraham’s servant heard their words, he bowed himself to the earth before the LORD.(Genesis 24:52) Do you pray like the messengers of God have prayed?! Bow down and prostrate to God and ask for guidance. It’s God, alone, who can guide us . May God reward us with the highest level of paradise |

shahydbinaliyu:And when the sacred months (ramadan) have passed, then kill the polytheists (Jews and chrsitians) wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. If bomb were available then, mohammed would have used them against his enemies. |
Re: Misconceptions About Islam by true2god: 11:00pm On Apr 19, 2015 |
shahydbinaliyu:All these religious practices are pre-islamic and part and parcel of Judaism. Ceremonial washing of hands and feet did not start with Islam, mohammed only borrow it from Judaism. Why do muslims like claiming other people's religios practices as if its originated from them? Thats fraud, ok? All biblical prophets are traceable to Jewish ancestors. It is a criminal and bad claim from muslims to claim that Jews such as Jesus, moses, elijah, john, zachariah, jeremiah etc are muslims. It is absurd and a criminal offence for muslims claiming that those charaters are muslims and their mode of worship, islamic. |

The Stoning of the Devil ( Arabic: ﺭﻣﻲ ﺍﻟﺠﻤﺮﺍﺕ ramī aj- jamarāt, lit. " stoning of the jamarāt [place of pebbles] [1][2][3] " is part of the annual Islamic Hajj pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia . Muslim pilgrims fling pebbles at three walls (formerly pillars), called jamarāt , in the city of Mina just east of Mecca. It is one of a series of ritual acts that must be performed in the Hajj. On Eid al-Adha (the 10th day of the month of Dhu al- Hijjah ), pilgrims must strike only one of the large jamrah with seven pebbles. After the stoning is completed on the day of Eid, every pilgrim must cut or shave their hair. On each of the following two days, they must hit each of the three walls with seven pebbles, going in order from east to west. Thus at least 49 pebbles are needed for the ritual, more if some throws miss. Some pilgrims stay at Mina for an additional day, in which case they must again stone each wall seven times again. The pebbles used in the stoning are traditionally gathered at Muzdalifah, a plain southeast of Mina, on the night before the first throwing, but can also be collected at Mina. Replacement of the pillars Until 2004, the three jamarāt (singular: jamrah ) were tall pillars. After the 2004 Hajj, Saudi authorities replaced the pillars with 26-metre-long (85 ft) walls for safety; many people were accidentally throwing pebbles at people on the other side. To allow easier access to the jamarāt, a single-tiered pedestrian bridge called the Jamaraat Bridge was built around them, allowing pilgrims to throw stones from either ground level or from the bridge. The jamarāt are named (starting from the east): the first jamrah ( aj-jamrah al-'ūlā ), or the smallest jamrah ( ﺟﻤﺮﺓ ﺍﻟﺼﻐﺮﻯ aj-jamrah aṣ-ṣughrā ), the middle jamrah ( ﺟﻤﺮﺓ ﺍﻟﻮﺳﻄﻰ aj-jamrah al-wusṭā ), the largest jamrah ( ﺟﻤﺮﺓ ﺍﻟﻜﺒﺮﻯ aj-jamrah al-kubrā ), or Jamrah of Aqaba ( ﺟﻤﺮﺓ ﺍﻟﻌﻘﺒﺔ jamrat al-ʿaqaba ). Before 2004 ، the distance between the small and middle jamarāt was 150 m (490 ft); between the middle and large jamarāt it was 225 m (738 ft). [4] Historical and spiritual significance The ritual re-enacts Abraham ( Ibrāhīm )'s pilgrimage to Mecca as explained by the Muslim historian al-Azraqi : "When he [Abraham] left Mina and was brought down to (the defile called) al-Aqaba, the Devil appeared to him at Stone-Heap of the Defile. Gabriel said to him: "Pelt him!" so Abraham threw seven stones at him so that he disappeared from him. Then he appeared to him at the Middle Stone- Heap. Gabriel said to him: "Pelt him!" so he pelted him with seven stones so that he disappeared from him. Then he appeared to him at the Little Stone-Heap. Gabriel said to him: "Pelt him!" so he pelted him with seven stones like the little stones for throwing with a sling. So the Devil withdrew from him." [5] All three jamarāt represent the devil: the first and largest represents his temptation of Abraham against sacrificing Ishmael ( Ismāʿīl); the second represents the temptation of Abraham's wife Hājar to induce her to stop him; the third represents his temptation of Ishmael to avoid being sacrificed. He was rebuked each time, and the throwing of the stones symbolizes those rebukes. The stoning of the jamarāt also represents the repudiation of man's self ( an-nafs al-'amāra , literally the "internal despot" and the act of casting aside one's low desires and wishes. As one Islamic theologian states: "If one is able to crush al‑nafs al‑'amāra during the stoning of Jamrat al‑ʿAqaba (the Jamrah of Aqaba), then one has taken the next step in attaining closeness to Allah , and since between the servant and Allah there is no more than the distance of one step, if one has been able to take this step and make it past one's own low desires and wishes, then that which follows is the level of closeness to Allah. "During those two or three days after the Eid that one is in Mina, one must stone the three jamarāt , meaning that one must trample upon his internal despot ( an-nafs al-'amāra ), the external despot of the Shaitan from the Jinn (Iblīs and those like him), and the Shayṭān from among the Humans (the enemies of religion and of humanity). "The stoning of the three jamarāt is, in essence, the trampling upon the despots and waging war against all of them. When one focuses on them and the hatred for them, then one automatically focuses with complete attention upon one's self – and rightfully so – while stoning the jamarāt, one must focus entirely upon one's self. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) himself supervised and authenticated the written texts of the Qur’an Whenever the Prophet received a revelation, he would first memorize it himself and later declare the revelation and instruct his Companions (R.A. – Radhi Allahu Taala Anhu) – May Allah be pleased with him who would also memorize it. The Prophet would immediately ask the scribes to write down the revelation he had received, and he would reconfirm and recheck it himself. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was an Ummi who could not read and write. Therefore, after receiving each revelation, he would repeat it to his Companions. They would write down the revelation, and he would recheck by asking them to read what they had written. If there was any mistake, the Prophet would immediately point it out and have it corrected and rechecked. Similarly he would even recheck and authenticate the portions of the Qur’an memorized by the Companions. In this way, the complete Qur’an was written down under the personal supervision of the prophet (pbuh). 2. Order and sequence of Qur’an divinely inspired The complete Qur’an was revealed over a period of 22½ years portion by portion, as and when it was required. The Qur’an was not compiled by the Prophet in the chronological order of revelation. The order and sequence of the Qur’an too was Divinely inspired and was instructed to the Prophet by Allah (swt) through archangel Jibraeel. Whenever a revelation was conveyed to his companions, the Prophet would also mention in which surah (chapter) and after which ayat (verse) this new revelation should fit. Every Ramadhaan all the portions of the Qur’an that had been revealed, including the order of the verses, were revised and reconfirmed by the Prophet with archangel Jibraeel. During the last Ramadhaan, before the demise of the Prophet, the Qur’an was rechecked and reconfirmed twice. It is therefore clearly evident that the Qur’an was compiled and authenticated by the Prophet himself during his lifetime, both in the written form as well as in the memory of several of his Companions |

shahydbinaliyu: No it is not possible for a prophet of God to marry a 6 year old girl and have sex with her at 9, [size=15pt]this is one of the many reasons why mohammed is not a prophet, he was a pedophile and fraud prophet [/size]
Aisha was a little girl when she was molested by mohammed... this is contained in sahih hadith narrations... do u know what sahih hadiths are..should i teach u mr muslim..even muslims in nairaland have admited she was 9 when she deflowered but they say that 9 year old then were more matured in defence of a peadophile prophet but u claim that sahih muslim and bukhari were fraudulent to report her age as 9. .. Here let me give u other authentic islamic sources From the hadith of Bukhari, volume 5, #234 "Narrated Aisha: The prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six. We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Harith Kharzraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became all right, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, "Best wishes and Allah's blessing and a good luck." Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah's messenger came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age." Bukhari vol. 7, #65: "Narrated Aisha that the prophet wrote the marriage contract with her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: "I have been informed that Aisha remained with the prophet for nine years (i.e. till his death)."" From the hadith of Muslim, volume 2, #3309 Aisha reported: Allah’s Messenger married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house at the age of nine…. From the hadith of the Sunan of Abu Dawud, volume 2, #2116 "Aisha said, "The Apostle of Allah married me when I was seven years old." (The narrator Sulaiman said: "Or six years.". "He had intercourse with me when I was 9 years old." From "The History of Tabari", volume 9, page 131 "Then the men and women got up and left. The Messenger of God consummated his marriage with me in my house when I was nine years old. Neither a camel nor a sheep was slaughtered on behalf of me"...(The Prophet) married her three years before the Emigration, when she was seven years old and consummated the marriage when she was nine years old, after he had emigrated to Medina in Shawwal. She was eighteen years old when he died. From the Encyclopedia of Islam, under "Aisha": "Some time after the death of Khadija, Khawla suggested to Muhammad that he should marry either Aisha, the 6 year old daughter of his chief follower, or Sawda Zama, a widow of about 30, who had gone as a Muslim to Abyssinia and whose husband had died there. Muhammad is said to have asked her to arrange for him to marry both. It had already been agreed that Aisha should marry Djubayr Mutim, whose father, though still pagan, was friendly to the Muslims. By common consent, however, this agreement was set aside, and Muhammad was betrothed to Aisha... The marriage was not consummated until some months after the Hidjra, (in April 623, 624). Aisha went to live in an apartment in Muhammad's house, later the mosque of Median. She cannot have been more than ten years old at the time and took her toys to her new home." |

dulux07:Maybe you haven't heard of Eric Rudoph, Wade Michael Page, Ku Klux Klan, etc. Middle eastern terrorism all started with Christians, wikipedia, The 1982 Sabra and Shatila massacre, which targeted unarmed Palestinian refugees for rape and murder, was considered to be genocide by the United Nations General Assembly.[33] A British photographer present during the incident said that "People who committed the acts of murder that I saw that day were wearing [crucifixes] and were calling themselves Christians."[34] After the end of the civil war, Christian militias refused to disband, concentrating in the Israeli-occupied south of the country, where they terrorized Muslim and Druze villages and forcefully recruited men and boys from those communities into their groups.[35] Better think before you talk before you come and embarrass yourself here! |

basilico:Christians equally behead with sword, axe ,etc. Christians burn witches(even if they're children), worst execution methods were done by Christians. What you must know about Saudi style of beheading is that, it is totally different from ISIS/boko haram methods. Saudi style is done from the back of neck, this is a very swift death, consciousness is lost after approximately 5secs. The person dies immediately, but ISIS/Boko haram scums is totally off and this causes pain because it's done from the front of the neck and before the spinal cord is severed it takes time, no reasonable would support this. In the middle ages, France invented a machine specially for beheading(guillotine) and they used it till the 20th century! |
