See how the uninformed Nigerians trolling in their droves, I didn't know if I am doing the right thing at the moment, attempting to engage some kids in matters which appears beyond their comprehension.

I do not know the man kashamu or anything about him, but a senator-elect, the US is requesting his extradition, have you asked yourself, would the US ever extradite their own senator-elect to face criminal trial in another sovereign state? Shame most of you have lost any sense of patriotism and identity.

The government of the United States of America has begun fresh moves to extradite Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu to face drug trafficking charges, which he has been evading for several years now.

grin I told you guys so.

The biggest mistake of his life was getting elected as a Nigerian Senator, I just knew it will cause renewed interest in him.

Congrats Alhadji, your file is now active on someones desk in Washington. Again.

But don't worry though, American jail are not that bad and I'm sure they'll take care of you and out you in a country club jail because the world especially UK (USs sister) will be watching.

I don't know him personally but I get personal satisfaction from people getting their due comeuppance cheesy

Your issue is that you favor national patriotism over what is good and right. American Senators routinely go to jail for less criminal acts.

If you have proof that the US has not released a Senator to another country who wanted them on legal ground then post it. Otherwise you are just blubbering.

Corruption is rife in Nigeria and is seemingly wooven into the fabrics of our society. It's time we call a spade a spade and we work on shedding our corruption misnomer.

A good step is for General Buhari to hand him over to interpol with a caveat. The Nigerian Ambassador must be present in all interviews and interrogations with a direct line to Aso Rock.

don't mind these children prancing around in NL.
Has any1 ever seen or read where d US repatriated their citizen?
Even when U catch a US citizen red handed and jail him,d US will always claim his trial was not fair.
They even try everything possible to bring back their citizens already convicted and jailed outside d US to come home and serve their jail terms yet Nigerians are gleefully advocating for their own citizen to be repatriated.
It's sickening how majority of Nigerians reason.

What an absurdity, anyone can be accused of anything, convicting them of that accusation is a different matter. Really American senators get jailed for minimal crime and your proof? You must be aware of the Amanda Knox murder retrial, even before the Italian supreme court verdict, an official for the state department had categorically made clear they would not be extraditing her to Italy to whatever the outcome of the case.

If they are prepared to defend an ordinary citizen whilst flouting international agreement in the process, you should tell me how they would be prepared to send away their senator-elect to face trial. otiose.
