If you are going for Msc then your chances of working part time within that period to save £7000 is as good as Boko Haram making it to heaven

What is "intro letter"?
What she needs is a letter authorising her leave and stating that she will return to her job after the visit.

What the original poster meant by "intro letter" is a letter from your employee introducing you as a staff of the organisation and stating how long you've worked for them and how much you earn yearly. It's what i used form mine. I have never for once given a letter authorizing me to go on leave.

That is quite good.
Having a letter stating that you are taking leave and will return to you job afterwards.
Is a very strong tie to home.

Hello Justwise, I am back again.

I registered a company in 2012 and I paid the POL Fee this year that covers from 2012-1014,as i didn't commence business until Dec 24th last year.
I have a day job as well but from time to time, payment for my goods or services is paid into my salary account.
I supply wedding souvenirs and corporate gifts.
I will not have a TCC until end of this year or early next year, for all the payments I have received from December and this year.
Payments for my good or services does not stay in my personal account. I always end up withdrawing it to purchase items or pay into my company account Which shows in my account debits.
All of this payments I have invoices for.

My question is, is it Ok to submit just my POL TCC, since that's the only tax clearance I have for my company?
The money for the trip is also not funded from my company account but from my salary account.
The only reason I am bringing my company into the 'equation' is because of some of the credits '(and debits) that occurs in the account which I have to explain the source.

Submit all the document that will help you proof your tie to Nigeria and the source of money in your savings account.

Yes the money for the trip shouldn't come from your company's account

Hi. Not much has changed except the fact that I make a little more financially. Also, I rented a new apartment in October 2014 but although I paid for Legal fees, my landlord is yet to provide me neither the Tenancy Agreement nor my receipt of payment.

If that is the form of salary increment then good, but if you are still earning the same amount as last year then it's not a good idea.

Another thing is....when you are refused a visa and you want to reapply you have to address the refusal point.

Good day My. justwise
My wife is planning to visit the UK with my 8months old daughter. She has gotten an intro letter from her office, a big four accounting firm. I need your advise on the following
1.Her int passport still has her madien name and my daughter's passport has my own surname.. But she would be presenting our marriage cert.. And my baby's birth certificate.
2. She is intending to book a hotel for her stay...what's your advise on that?
3. She has a salary account that has a bal of 700k + a treasury bill cert of 600k hope that will be OK?
Hoping to read from you soon
Thanks
1. Her marriage certificate will do

2. Booking hotel is ok as long as it's good enough for her and the kid.

3. Yes she should present her salary account, payslip and the treasury bill certificate

Good evening justwise and others. I'm trying to book an appointment for my sister online for the Tier 4 student visa but I'm having difficulty paying the $502 visa fees. The response is always transaction failed and I have used the same MasterCard to pay on that same application last year before she was denied visa

I learnt that CBN has placed a limit of $300 per day on Nigerian cards. Can this be the reason for the transaction failure? Is there any other means through which I can make the payment?

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Good evn Justwise, I want to apply for a family visit visa on the 4th of may as my father permanently resides and work over there in UK... I already have an invitation letter from him, a leave approval letter from my company stating how long I'll be away and when I'd be expected to resume work. I am a seafarer and currently I'm being owed 5months salary so my question is do I stand a good chance if I submit a sponsor or guarantor's bank statement in place of mine to cover the whole travelling expense. I have previously traveled to Togo and Ghana... pls @justwise I need your wise response... thanks

Good evening. I just submitted my online application and paid the visa application fee but just discovered that I made a mistake with my passport number on the form I submitted. Is there a way to correct this without having to start the process all over again bearing in mind that I have already paid for the application and booked a date to visit the embassy.

@ Johnsnow008,

I believe the only way to make corrections is on the hardcopy of the form. I made a mistake on my form too but corrected it on the hardcopy on my way to VAC at Ikeja. Just make sure you sign it off. I even made i mistake with the date of Church marrige during the interview. All well and good i still got the settlement Visa 3 weeks ago. Just make sure you sign off your corrections.

Your chances in that situation is very slim. With visiting visa application as an adult...is either you have the money to sponsor the trip or you don't.

A slim chance. I'll take that as a positive... I know lodging a fair amount of money in my account might look suspicious, that why I'm thinking of using my uncle who is a custom officer and also owns a car shop... that's the only option I can think of...

You can get itinerary from any travel agent or simply request online from any airline website, it's a booking so it's free. 400-500k is okay, meaning u will still have at least 300k in ur account. In ma case, I had a closing balance of N600k and wrote in the form, that I will spend N450k for every.
Tip: Make sure u fill the income n expenditure section very well. Don't make the various amounts u specify be too small or to big, it should shall be in keeping with total money u have for the trip. Also, it's best u claim u spending few days so it correlates with your expenditure and seem more than enough. In my case, I specified I was going for just 5days, which u too can take example from sInce its just graduation u attending.Lastly, write a cover letter to the embassy, I got that tip from this forum and it helped greatly! There you can maybe explain deposits outside ur salaries or cash lodgement if any, u cud explain ur job or anything that u feel needs clarification. Because you should never assume oh, this people don't call you 4interview so bestraightforward and clear.
All the best, come and thank God later.

@ Esosa4real;
Apart from where costs should be stated in Pounds, did you fill other cost sections in pounds or naira?
i.e. The total amount of money you have for this trip?
- The cost of aeroplane, trains etc?
- The cost of accommodation
- The cost of your living expenses

With your bad record and ban why are you making your life difficult by trying to get back into the UK as a student?
There are many places with good schools that you can apply to.
Just search with Google.

Or do you have other plans for the UK. which you are not telling us?
Is this a back door way to get in again?
No other plans, my first choice schools are in the UK

Gosh! Your story is all over the place..ok let's start by getting some facts right.....

1.Have you used a different name to apply for visa apart from your real name?

2.How old are you the last time you applied and got refused?

3.Under which immigration rule were you refused? 320(11) or 320(7A) or both?
Nope I have never used a fake name nor faked any documents. All documents I used where issued by the relevant officials. Last time I was refused I was 17yrs, four days away from turning 18. I lost the refusal letter issued. But I think it was both immigration laws. My mother is in the UK and has indefinite leave to remain. If the student visa route is not the most feasible, which visa can I apply for?

You need sons passport.
Visa officer will look at your finances and ties to home.
Husband should get letter of leave from his employer.

VO will look at the sum of money and wages that you have.
If it looks like you are emptying your bank account for the trip then you will be refused.
You need good funds remaining as ties to home.
