Where the people at the conference elected or selected? What gave them the mandate of the people to represent them at such gathering? Does our constitution recognise National Jamboree? Who ratifies the recommendations --- FEC or NA or by referendum? These are key.questions that were not answered by GEJ before convening the national jamboree and wasted scarce national resources. It was a clear case of putting the cart before the horse. He was more interested in using it as a political tool for re-election, than the legality of conveying a proper conference. I am a hardened and unrepentant proponent of restructuring of the country, but it should be done properly. Let us make it one of our demand on this government to convey a proper people's parliament without telling us there are "no-go-areas". We must sit and discuss myriads of problems bedevilling this country, if we ever want to move forward. Anybody that wants out can be allowed to express its wish and be given a phased 5-25years pull out of the union. |

And for u who think am tribalistic, if u happen to have read my post, you will see that i rebuked goodluck for his failure to implement what he started my main point is that we should not expect buhari to implement it cos he is against it his apc is against it the north is against it so it wont be a surprise if he does not even look at it |

Every Nigerian should ignore the recommendations of the CONFAB in all its entirety. a forum founded on dead brains of men over 60-70 years old looking for solutions in a modern Nigeria. HOW POSSIBLE? |

Emyogalanya:All we need in Nigeria is the way forward and love... Be it APC or PDP, at first I never supported GMB because of people around him not only his personality... But the few words I have presently heard from him mean Nigerians good and positivity is what Nigerians crave for. However, my Bible asked me to respect those in authority and in Roman 13:8 that we should owe no man anything but love... More love cures the maladie of hatred and makes one strong, reasonable, humane and a good leader... His actions if reasonable will give him more years and doubters will support him with their sweat... Continuity is the way forward though not in everything but in things that will benefit the nation without partisanship. |

hamilton62:then apc should have d spirit of sportsmanship gracious in victory and in defeat they act as if its not the act of God all power comes from God do they expect buhari to win the whole 36 states wont it look like was rigged did goodluck not lose some states four years ago did we mock thier buhari's defeat so how come now thats should be seen as victory for our country and democracy |

Emyogalanya:You are right dear... I am a GEJ supporter but that doesn't mean that Aso Rock is his fathers home... What I sincerely don't like about APC is they conceding defeat and sincerely though PDP has a bad name but APC with this is gradually turning to PDP of years back where every post is do or die... Mind you, I am not a party member but individuals are my concern... A eye for an eye will make the world blind... Let's forget about the past so we can live in the present. The past will leave us stagnated. |

There should be some sort of continuity. I believe that the implementation of the Confab will not be a backward move for the nation but rather a progressive achievement... |

Emyogalanya:The issue of the Confab reports can not and will not be fully implemented because 1.the composition of the government delegates was a fraud. 2.the regions and state were not evenly and equally represented With just the two listed above, how will a right thinking Nigerian call for the full implementation of the confab reports. I strongly suggest that we should have another confab where the states and regions will be equally and evenly represented and that will create a platform for proper and constructive dialogue that will be beneficial to all. |
