This further buttresses the fact that CU and their likes are nothing but dumping grounds for candidates who are intellectually handicapped to meet up with admission requirements of Federal and State universities.

They use ''good grades'' to compensate parents and sponsors for exorbitant fees paid to acquire certificates their wards can hardly defend.

Ever heard of the word SUBSIDY...
The skul fee of a federal university student is low bcoz it has bn SUBSIDIZED by the govt and dats y its naturally more difficult to gain admission in federal than private unis...if u care to knw, there re more qualified lecturers,profs,Dctrs e.t.c in public unis than in private unis......tke note

Hardly had any private university graduate trainee made it past the probationary period in my organization.

They have zero tolerance to work under pressure. If they were assigned to do any job, they would still be babysat from start to finish. Failure of which leads to a litany of tales of mistakes.

Two were in the same class with me at Lagos Business School; they were nothing but bench warmers both in our general class and our syndicate room.

Worked in a bank for 4yrs, and o'cos across all departments (marketing, operations and IT). Just started academics fully. It's interesting to let you know that some CU grads are still searching for jobs. My younger cousin, even with her 2:1, masters and ICAN cert, is still at home.

I will readily employ a second-class upper graduate from a federal university like Unilag, UI, OAU...etc over a first-class graduate of CU.

I do believe private schools such as CU actually do help/encourage their students to pass. Like CU for instance where you do mid-semester test like 1month to exams which is about 20-30 marks and ur exams are 70mrks there is no way a good student will fail because deres nt much left to be taught b4 exams hence the high pass rates, whereas in a govt uni you don't do mid-semester tests, u do exams where its 100mrks straight(uniben students shuld knw wah I'm talking abt) and the lecturer tells u that "A" is for his mother/ancestors and "B" is for him then u struggle for the rest.
