ABUJA-Governor Willie of Anambra State on Friday visited the President-Elect, General Mohammadu Buhari in his Aso Drive residence, Abuja.

Obiano’s visit came when speculations were rife that he was planning to defect to the All Progressives Congress, APC from the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA where he was elected.
But speaking to Journalists at the premises of General Buhari, who said that his mission to the president-elect was to congratulate him.

Buhari Will Get 100% Support From APGA, Says Obiano
The Governor of Anambra State and the national leader of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Willie Obiano has said the state and party will give total support to the incoming administration of General Muhammadu Buhari.

Addressing journalists shortly after a congratulatory visit to the President- elect at his Aso Drive residence in Abuja Friday, he said though he does not intend to leave APGA, the state government will give its support and cooperation to the APC government at the centre just as it did to the out-going PDP administration.

Obiano who was by a gleefully looking President- elect, said their discussion during the meeting centered on requests of the people of the South East to be carried along in sensitive appointments and projects execution particularly the building of the Second Niger Bridge.

Omo OBIANO is one of the governor I least expected to visit buhari......the guy is so igbo to the core.....anyway thumbs up to that sense of maturity and spirit of sportsmanship

Thought he said he would spearhead APGA to form an opposition party?Talk is indeed cheap.
These are fair weather politicians.If not obiano should know he has a once in a lifetime historic duty to forge an alliance with like minded individuals,men of integrity and foresight to give Nigeria a credible opposition party after d expected death of PDP, a party populated by thieves,drug lords,gangsters and fugitives from foreign lands;a party that went into the last elections handicapped already by its choice of an utterly incompetent president.
Even those of us so overjoyed with the emergence of GMB and so convinced of his destiny to make Nigeria great,would welcome such a credible opposition as that spearheaded by an APGA, which though a minor party now,but whose presence and tentacles are formidably being felt and acknowledged nationwide.
Obiano with some strategic weeding of political misfits and criminals, and strategic alliances can give Nigeria that.

When peter obi/PDP is promising to support willie Obiano in anambra state, Obiano is runing from him and pledging his loyalty to APC . Nawa o nobody want to associate with a failure

President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari met with some Igbo elders in Abuja on Friday, April 24.
Some of those granted an audience by Buhari are; Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra and Chief of staff (Prof. Joe Asike).
Others are Rtd. Major General Ike Nwachukwu, Dr Dozie Ikedife, Elder Ken Emechebe, Dr. Kalu Idika, Gen. Sam Momah and Col. Chris Ugokwe.

I don't have anything against your comment but I lest expected it from you for the fact that you are at the forefront of defending every manifestation of tribalism and bigotry from the North and Southwest Nigeria, only to show your extreme hypocrisy and claims of detribalized Nigerian when it relates to Eastern Nigeria.

Don't forget your famous defense for Oba Akiolu threat against the Easterners living in Lagos State.
