For 34 years? grin

He's not a president, he's a king. Two different meaning.

When he dies, is he going to take his ill-gotten wealth with him?

Typical of Africa where the people in the leadership are living in luxury and the overwhelming majority of their citizens lives in penury. No wonder Africa is the most underdeveloped of all the continents in the world.

Unless, i am reading this page upside down, i think Mugabe should evem top the list and i do not want to believe he his worth just $10million. I will rather believe that actual records of his Bank Account where all the diamonds are put in the safe deposit Box could not be accessed. Also Mugabe's nephew Phillip Chiyangwa 's net worth is more than 100 million check him out. Mugabe himself has more money than his nephew, who ever wrote this doesn't know what he is writing.

Another mistake with your list is on president museveni of Uganda, he has been in power for up to 30years now, and he owns roughly 60% of the private sector in Uganda. So ranking him among the ranking him among the poorest presidents like Uruguay's Jose Mujica is misinformation.

Where is Jacob Zuma, President of South Africa? His home alone is R250million. what about his businesses?

I also think this article is nothing but a poor opinion from a misinformed racist journalist, these people are no different from the queen of England or the american president in terms of their abuse of political power for the greater good of their pockets. its not an African thing, its a global thing.

In conclusion, I do like to state what an Irony it is that these are countries with poorest populace. Most of these men are only parading what they've grabbed from public coffers.
