Water melons are sold in trucks eg cabstar full or pick up. You must have plant several acres before you can sell like that. However if you have small quantity, you will be at the mercy of the middle man.
You might have to sell in pieces to retailers who will dictate price to you.
If incase your watermelon will be up to a truck full of pick up or cabstar, I can give you contact no of agent in mile 12 that will sell for you at the current market price.
10% of the whole sales goes to him.
You will also pay the off loaders and market tax.
