I'm sure we see this as barbaric because we are not in their shoes. We only know what they are doing, we don't know what they have been through in the hands of drug dealers as a country. There has to be a reason for such drastic measures. I'm sure Nigerians will be more than happy if we begin to execute corrupt politicians like this. Although the whole world would see it as barbaric, but Nigerians who have felt the brunt of corruption would understand that it is a painful but neccesary action.

I am yet to understand why drug dealings carry death penalty. What about other capital punishments? What will killing them about to? If one says it will warn others from trailing that path then the aim Is defeated because a lot of people are still taking that path; people that don't fear death. They rather die than remain poor

But humans self sad why can't we learn through other people's experiences

My dear I don't wish that even for my worst enemy.
Anyway I don't have enemies smiley

Heroin produces a "downer" effect that rapidly induces a state of relaxation and euphoria (related to chemical changes in the pleasure centers of the brain). Like other opiates, heroin use blocks the brain's ability to perceive pain. Heroin abusers, particularly those with prior history of drug abuse, may initially be able to conceal signs and symptoms of their heroin use.

Loved ones or co-workers may notice a number of signs of heroin use, which are visible during and after heroin consumption:

Shortness of breath
Dry mouth
Constricted (small) pupils
Sudden changes in behavior or actions
Disorientation
Cycles of hyper alertness followed by suddenly nodding off
Droopy appearance, as if extremities are heavy
The above signs are not unique to heroin abuse. More definitive warning signs of heroin abuse include possession of paraphernalia used to prepare, inject or consume heroin:

Needles or syringes not used for other medical purposes
Burned silver spoons
Aluminum foil or gum wrappers with burn marks
Missing shoelaces (used as a tie off for injection sites)
Straws with burn marks
Small plastic bags, with white powdery residue
Water pipes or other pipe
Behavioral signs of heroin abuse and addiction include:

Lying or other deceptive behavior
Avoiding eye contact, or distant field of vision
Substantial increases in time spent sleeping
Increase in slurred, garbled or incoherent speech
Sudden worsening of performance in school or work, including expulsion or loss of jobs
Decreasing attention to hygiene and physical appearance
Loss of motivation and apathy toward future goals
Withdrawal from friends and family, instead spending time with new friends with no natural tie
Lack of interest in hobbies and favorite activities
Repeatedly stealing or borrowing money from loved ones, or unexplained absence of valuables
Hostile behaviors toward loved ones, including blaming them for withdrawal or broken commitments
Regular comments indicating a decline in self esteem or worsening body image
Wearing long pants or long sleeves to hide needle marks, even in very warm weather
Users build tolerance to heroin, leading to increases in the frequency and quantity of heroin consumption. With growing tolerance, more definitive physical symptoms of heroin abuse and addiction emerge:

Weight loss
Runny nose (not explained by other illness or medical condition)
Needle track marks visible on arms
Infections or abscesses at injection site
For women, loss of menstrual cycle (amenorrhea)
Cuts, bruises or scabs from skin picking

they should just die but they should make peace with GOD and may their soul rest in peace in advance

I wonder why Asian countries are the targets for these drug couriers though

Because crack has more financial worth in these Asian country`s than in Europe or America. Peddlers re paid more to embark on Asian trips because of the high risk involved. The price of a lace of crack in the US will be X3 in a country like Saudi Arabia. The higher the risk, the higher the pay.

If Indonesia feels that death is an inevitable penalty why put the condemned through the torture that comes with an anticipated death.

They have waited. The day has come, just waste them at the prison yard and dispose their remains.

This process is simply barbaric.

I've this overwhelming feeling of sympathy for them. If only our past and present leaders had consciences and returned the over 500 billion of Dollars stolen from our coffers, invested them in this country and provided employment for these men, these men would have still been alive.

But now they will die no thanks to Abacha, Babangida, OBJ, Atiku, Tinubu, T.A Orji and other worthless leaders that have turned looting to their favorite pastime.

This country is heading to the gallows. If our leaders didn't embezzle all our money, imagine how easy life would have been for us. What led us to this stage? S.Ans kill us. In U.K, we're killed. In U.S.A, Nigerians are killed. Even in C.A.R, Nigerians are killed. All over the world, we suffer public disgrace. If not for our corrupt leaders, tell me what a Nigerian should be doing in Somali all in the name of green pastures. Our leaders have ruined us. I wonder if Karma really exist. Because while the poor masses suffer, the rich get richer and live longer. This country irritates me.

I disagree with you on what let them into Drug peddling. Fine its bad for our leaders to loot but looting has nothing to do with drug peddling. What about those citizens of Australia? is Australia not a better Country than Nigeria? They wanted to make fast money and they got caught (though i hate the idea of killing them) but there are millions of Nigerians struggling to make it including my self but i wont do drug and other illegal means of making fast money. Imagine Raheem Agbaje Salami, KWAM1 used to sing to praise him and now he is caught what do u say about that?

I hate drug peddlers but that part that involves shooting in the head is simply crossing the line, they really don't need to do that!

But I will recommend this type of treatment for paedophiles especially the ones that specialise in violating the innocence of our Babies!

A local television station in Indonesia has broadcasted a chilling re-enactment of how executions are carried out in Indonesia. It was broadcasted to millions of viewers yesterday and is set to become a brutal reality for the 4 Nigerians involved.

Come Wednesday, April 29th, Nigerians - Martin Anderson, 50, Okwudili Oyatanze, 41, Jamiu Owolabi Abashin, 50, and Silvester Obiekwe Nwolise, 47, will be executed in Indonesia just after the stroke of midnight. They were found guilty of drug trafficking and will be shot to death by a firing squad.

The men are expected to be led from their isolated cells in Death Island through a wildly dense tropical forest to a place called Nirbaya - or more appropriately known as Death Valley.

The condemned pair will be given white clothing to wear, which symbolises the afterlife, before
beginning their fatal trek and are given the option to be blindfolded with a piece of fabric before facing the firing squad who will be lined up anywhere from five to 10 metres in front of them.

The confronting decisions continue for the death row inmates with the opportunity to choose whether to stand, sit or kneel before a cross is placed over their hearts acting as a target for the 12 riflemen - of which nine will have blanks and only three will have live rounds.

Each prisoner is offered 3 minutes to calm down but if necessary their hands or feet will be tied to a 3m high pole or worse still - a wooden execution chair.

The 12 marksmen are then ordered to fire at them. And after the shooting, if doctors confirm that there are still signs of life in them, the commander will shoot the inmates in the head.

I beg, he do. I have witnessed many executions by firing squard. For example I saw Buhari do two in my presence. But that time don pass. I beg nor increase my BP. I beg, you hear? The detail too much. But honestly I like your intelligent level sha.
