Explain how come they were paying subsidy on fuel when none existed.
Explain how come NNPC allowed fuel get into Demurrage so they had to pay almost $0.76 billion
Explain how they paid $1.5billion as wages
Explain how they rounded up figures and a sum of $4million was added

He said $48billion was missing, now we know only a little over 1billion is unaccounted for, the intention was political from the onset.

The $48 billion was as at when he wrote the letter to the president after which the NNPC remitted some to the federation account before the letter was made public in September, possibly by someone in the presidency.

Sanusi claimed that $49.5bn Oil sales was MISSING, as unremitted funds from the NNPC. He later claimed that the amount was $12.5bn, before finally resting at $20bn.

Are you aware that part of the $49b was remitted to the federation account after Sanusi's letter before the letter was made public? Recall that the audit was only sanctioned after the letter was made public. If you read between the lines of the report, you'd notice that even after the report was submitted in November 2014, NNPC still "accounted" for some $2bn which was previously unaccounted for leading to the office of the government re-inviting PwC to update their initial report.
