mine is 2 ⇨ 3 ⇨ 1

2 is going on a straight path

3 is on the 'expressway' about to enter a less busy 'street ' road

then 1

You tried but IMO you are wrong. Not to blame you as most Nigerians think this is right.

2 right of way
3 to reduce hold up on main road
1 cause no problem on main road when delayed can enter when traffic is light on main road

2 is going straight, so he should go first

1 should follow. The traffic rule says give chance to vehicles on the left (in countries driving on the right side of the road). 1 is on the left of 3, so he should give chance to 1 to go first. Followed by 3.

u are very correct, people on major road should have more right of way.

But do Nigerian drivers understand highway code, I think not !!!!

The answers may be on the yield signs. (which we Nigerians do pay attention to)

NO 3 first, Reason is No yield sign
NO 1 next, Reason is His yield sign is blank
NO 2 next, Reason is the sign kinda look like "yield for traffic on the right"

So it's 3-1- 2

Nos 2 is not a yield sign. It is an information sign. It shows that it is on a main way with a right to a less busy street.

Only nos 2 has a yield sign.

Car 2:- This car goes FIRST. It has the right-of-way. Vehicles on the sides (1 & 3) should give way to vehicles going straight on.

Car 1:- This car would go LAST. Vehicles approaching/entering the major road MUST allow traffic (2 & 3) to pass before joining the flow of traffic.

Car 3:- Refer to 1...

Shouldn't the vehicle that could cause the most interference go next?
3 is on a major highway, with Dangote & Maersk trucks coming at high speed from behind him .

2 has right of way, 3 would cause traffic on the expressway and should go then 1 because it does not cause any traffic.

2 and 3 are one the MAIN road (see the sign !!)

2nd is going first then 3 and 1 as a last one (one more time sign !!)

You don't need to be an expert to know this, it's the one of basic rule on the road !!
