I want to present to you in pictures how NairaLand.com evolved through the years (2005 till 2015).

NairaLand.com was registered on March 08, 2005, but the earliest screenshot taken by www.archive.org of NairaLand.com was on March 15, 2005.

Hope you guys will find this encouraging especially, those that are into forums and blogs. Certainly, the SEO guy will find the users statistics interesting .

Cool. IIRC, there was a time when S.eun tweaked some features and nairalanders were complaining about the site being too bright. I think he had to revert.

Seun, what does it take ? What where your struggles ? And what would you say kept you going... I remember reading somewhere that at some point you where almost getting discouraged ? ?

You are my role model, please share with us your experiences up to now..

Anyway, some questions, why the change overtime? What was the inspiration? Did the changes occur due to trends or basically to refresh the site? Was it to garner the required membership subscription needed to inspire potential advertisers? Was the change due to popular demands? Were the changes due to activities in the blog-sphere? Can we argue that these shifts are not locomotive but are artifacts of egg-head creative in the back end.


If there are no answers to these questions on Nairaland's generational shifts and embryonic developments, could we assert that the next generation of screenshots would be inspired by future challenges thrown in the media-sphere (social space) and hierarchical motivations of the site owner (Mr. Seun Osewa)?

Everything is a stage....Seun, someday, your site will be numéro un in Nigeria. Say Amen..

A decade of continuous growth. Noticed the site has an average growth rate of about 200,000 members per annum. Great job Seun!
