The Federal Government on Wednesday said it took exception to some of the terms of reference of the transition committee set up by the President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).

Minister of National Planning, Dr. Abubakar Sulaiman, disclosed this at the end of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting.
Sulaiman, who is the chairman of the Technical Subcommittee of the outgoing government’s transition committee, said the council warned the incoming government against running a parallel government.
He said President Goodluck Jonathan’s magnanimity should not be taken as a sign or cowardice.

GMB is rather impatient and too eager to be El Presidente.

This accusation is baseless and therefore cannot be accepted and we are ready to resist any attempt by your government to truncate the transition. If South Africa decides to meet with GMB over Xenophobic violence that led to the dealt of Nigeria, it is their decision and not of GMB. If world power countries invited GMB. It is for the good of African and our country Nigeria. He didn't invite them but he was. So what is the problem?
Nigerians should not sleep with their two eyes close. We have to watch Jonathan closely.

illegal government. Government that is not recognized by law. Buhari has not been sworn in as the President, Hence he should not start playing the
role of a President because as far as the constitution is concern, GEJ is still the president of Nigeria. I hope this explains it better?
