op, the edible one is toad.u find dem in swampy areas and they usually make noise at night

Seems you grow in the city. Am 100 per cent sure,toad is opolo and frog is konkoo. Ask people around you.
konkoo is not that familiar per se, but opolo is the word for frog or toad, not sure there's a distinction between the two, although there might be sha.

They are not toads but frogs. They are also consumed in some parts of d east. Its called mbala or akiri in Igbo. Toads are those ones that have bumps on their skin, that makes noise at night.

Frog is the one with smooth, slimy skin while toad has coarse, poisonous skin.

it will taste nice and delicious once it is roasted and really dried. Some people eat cats ,snakes and even dogs. It is just the way it is prepared that matters. If u enter a house and u aren't told about it,u will have eaten 5 pieces of this meat before u know it

I have never sampled frogs myself and have no strong desire to do so - crocodile was about as adventurous as I could manage!

bros ,in yoruba land we call frogs opolo and toads konko and toads are very edible , u can always see hausa traders hawking it all over the market . It is roasted dry just like bonga fish . So toad is very very edible.
