The 19 APC lawmakers will be trying their
luck with their
Maker tomorrow when they storm Afe
Babalola University to
attend a peace meeting called by the
eminent lawyer to thaw
the frozen relationship between them and
Governor Ayodele
Fayose.
Sources told Ekiti Vigilantes that a meeting
was held at the
Fishery Section of Afe Babalola University
about two weeks
where the plan to hold Thursday meeting
was hatched.
At the meeting, it was agreed that a
meeting be called with
the Speaker, Dr Adewale Omirin, in
attendance at an agreed
location, preferably the same university.
Omirin was the only
person to attend the meeting.
The plan is to put a huge sums of money
on the ground
covered with cloth without Omirin knowing
about it. A
cameraman will be on standby taking the
photographs and
video of those present.
In a well-choreographed scheme, a man will
remove the cloth
covering the money when one man is
heatedly busy talking to
Omirin about the money he is to collect
while both video
cameraman and photographer quickly take
the shots of money
and at the same time taking Omirin
pictures.
Whatever Omirin agrees to, the proceedings
of the meeting will
be distorted and the photo shots and video
footages of the
meeting will be put on the net to blackmail
Omirin as
collecting huge sums of money in the video.
Sources said Omirin had earlier received
calls for the meeting
but he refused to honour it, leading to the
inclusion of other
members at an enlarged meeting scheduled
to hold tomorrow.
According to sources, Fayose is planning
two things to get his
way tomorrow. The first option is to carry
out his blackmail
scheme or send thugs to instigate crisis
that will lead to fatal
injuries to the lawmakers that will lead to
them to hospital
admissions for several months, thus stalling
impeachment
proceedings.
The lawmakers are advised to go to the
meeting with heavy
security if they must go at all and insist
that a detachment of
security agents from DSS should
accompany them to provide
security.
