I had a similar problem when I updated mine over the air. My phone was overheating unnecessarily, I resolved the issue by doing a clean installation with my laptop.

Give it time, maybe it'll become faster. Or you can update it again or a clean installation.

I swear it pains me when i hear babes or even guys paying close to 10k updating there software/os or even installing apps, slot systems ikeja is very guilty of this, they wud load apps readily avaialable on blackberry app world at riduculous prices! To update ur software or os is not a big deal buy data on ur pals phone and use the pals mobile hotspot and switch on ur own wifi simple as ABC

I think its time blackberry release a android/ios version of there much acclaimed best keypad just like as they did for bbm, as a former blackberry user i enjoy the blackberry keypard alot, which is why i choose fleksy on my android, its ui reminds me of blackberry keypad alot!

No wonder your posts are scarce on FP lately.
It is most likely Hardware problem, keypad has to be changed. Wait till you hear from the thread gurus though.

Sounds like u unknowingly or mistakenly spilled liquid into the keyboard or moisture built up inside. So am thinking its a hardware problem, so if it is, der's only much i can do frm my end. U need to tke it to a good phone repairer, he'll open it up n wipe the innard. It should be fine after that.

mime has started doing like that. It always goes back to January 13th 2013 each time I on and off it. Just tired of setting time though it's on auto update. Plus does whatsapp work on yours?
