As much as I like the message can someone tell Bruce to return Nigeria money he stole during OBJ government? He is part of Nigeria problem. The question now is that can a problem profer solution to itself? |

Baba is now elected, I bought fuel in the black market yesterday after almost a decade experience of things like this. CHANGE is truly here!! I will keep watching in Tobago... |

Some of the comments on this thread are sickening- people who did not read or understand the point Ben Bruce was making still saw it proper to leave imbecilic remarks. Stop this deification of Buhari, what he needs is the truth and nothing else. All those people who refuse to see things as they really are, instead viewing from their APC vs PDP lenses are the ones doing the most disservice. |

Desric:Don't mind the hypocrites. As much as I want Buhari to sell off the planes in the fleet, I also want Ben Bruce to refuse to collect over 40 million quarterly for doing what amounts to exchanging banter with co-travellers while seating in cushy seats in Abuja. |

SuperSuave:I wil rather say dat u ar d person talking thrash. You wil Soon join d masses to say dat APC manifesto's ar mere political propaganda. There is no provision 4 subsidy in d 2015 budget. Wic means dat fuel price remains at 100naira til 2016. Buhari promised to stabilize fuel price immediately he assume office. Nigerians ar in a haste to see d change APC chanted. Very soon Nigerians wil bundle him out of dat office. |

Novaworld:Very excellent advice. I really dont think buhari will take these advices with the colonies of vultures and sycophants around him, its just gonna be business as usual with: looting and over-looting,political victimization, control of the press,witch-hunting of supposed political enemies, selective persecution in the name of fighting corruption, intolerance to criticism, partial imposition of sharia and Economical starvation of some regions(especially the south and east) The one that will turn his administration upside-down will be witch-hunting of GEJ and his wife. |

SuperSuave:Mr Bruce has some very nice points up there. He was not economical with the truth and never massaged his party ego. In fact in my opinion he took them to the cleaners. If GMB goes with this mindset he is sure going to achieve a lot. My only indifference is where he talked about probing his predecessors. If he believes GMB should just forget all that happened it will not augur well for criminal justice system and the culture of impunity that has gotten us to this place. Yet I do not support any form of witch hunting either. If he wants to probe it should be across board, whether PDP or APC. Any attempt for him to look into PDP and turn a blind eye to the APC is already an invitation to failure. For me, as a 73yr old man he has nothing and no political future to lose. This is his chance to give Nigerians the country of their dreams irrespective of whose ox is gored. I never voted nor believed in GEJ in 2011 maybe because of what I see in his party but when he entered I had some hope that he could bring some change damning all cabals that have taken us to this pitiable state. But, alas he faltered, joined them and become one of the oppressors. |

SuperSuave:It is good to have a strong belief in the incoming president. However, not everything said about him, devoid of adulation, borders on hate. You all need to loosen up. This is not a hate speech. Only a remider of the realities that lie ahead. Realities he must face as the president of Nigeria If you can't accept the challenges or constructive criticisms of Buhari, then you are simply been biased and unrealistic...a fact confirmed by your not reading the article before commenting. |

The truth is the lies apc told nigerians about gej and pdp will come back to haunt buhari for 4years. I was discussing with someone and I told the person that there is no money and that nigeria was in for a really hard tough time ,but surprisingly he shouted and said there is money that afterall gej spent 2TRIlLiOn just to bribe obas and that apc revealed how gej and his cohorts stoled 500billion dollars. I shook my head and I realised that nigerians don't know the situation of things. Now if buhari starts giving excuses ppl will get angry and they will start calling him a thief and we all know our politicians they have to recoup the money they spent to win the last election plus the one they will need for 2019. Whether buhari performs or not ,he has achieved what he wanted ,it is nigerians that may not see the change anticipated |

Novaworld:Did preach this to the palm drinker president you supported for six years and was rooting for, for another 4 years? Nigerians are wiser and decided to choose a new leader and until you show some understanding that your GEJ was a total disaster, your advice also be a disaster and our new leader can do without it. Please give it to your dear friend Ayodele Fayose. |

ideykwum:the write up is just reality about where Jonathan has pushed nigeria which buhari will now have to struggle to revert. While d oil price was at its best during Jonah's era and other countries were busy building their reserve, Jonah and his cohort were busy looting the increase and depleting d reserve they met on ground. Oil price was at it best ever during Jonah's regime but go and check how much foreign reserve was handed over to Jonah and how much he will be handing over to his successor. That man can never be on my good list as president |

bjdon:I strongly disagree with the bolded. When the National assembly passes the budget, it is just an appropriation act. The president, Buhari, must accent to it by signing it. Then it becomes a bill that can be implemented. Buhari can and should refuse to sign any appropriation act with 'mega wage packages' as you put it. All he has to do is get his PR people to shout from the roof top that the National assembly is holding the Nation to ramsom. Leave the rest to civil society groups, Charley boy and okada riders and the Nigerian masses.Buhari can surely make them reduce their wages. It is the executive arm that decides what all government officials will earn. The NA only has to approve it or not. |

Funny ebough , he told us about his loyalty to GEJ forgetting that some of the statements (points) he made are a direct indictment on GEJ. The fleet of private jet which GEJ increased when he got in. The useless sponsoring of people to mecca and Israel wasn't stopped by his messiah which he wanted to continue as the president, yet wants Buhari to stop it. Series of things he listed were things Jonathan contributed to in making Nigeria worse. I dare to ask, if he sees these things as a problem which Jonathan didn't stop for 6 years, how come he still supports and supported Jonathan to continue? |

Now that Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) has been chosen by theBen Bruce,s opening sentence contradicts the whole body of the article. If you are loyal and appreciative of president jonathan, it means you appreciate his style of governance. So why the advice? why not ask Buhari to continue with the way jonathan was ruling Nigeria, So that you can appreciate him too. Since Jonathan is his kinsman and he had access to him, why did he not give Jonathan these advices anytime during the 6 yr presidency of president Goodluck? Please leave President elect Buhari alone, he does not need the advice of PDP members on how to run a successful government. |
