I hate to say this but i think some people are architect of their misfortune because i see know reason smuggling drugs into asia when you know its automatic death if caught. If they were caught there and sentenced to death, we would start saying their law is barbaric. All i know is, i will make it in Nigeria by the grace of GOD. Kudos to NDLEA for this.

The NDLEA will continue to arrest people trafficking drugs to these death sentence countries as long as the situation back home remains the same. The situation am referring to here is the value system. As long as we continue to see people who make it big and we elevate them to high status regardless of how these monies are made, hustlers will not stop hustling. In Nigeria of today average working class people are not recognized or accorded respect because they are not driving G-Wagons and living in Banana islands. Erstwhile poor guys find their way into government and automatically turn to decision makers in their community, building hotels and posh estates with big cars whilst the people call them dons. Now one will be tempted to ask about the many who stay back to hustle genuinely but we need to understand not everyone have the mental capacity to compete in an imbalanced society like ours. Until we fix this country in all spheres expect more Nigerians on the waiting list of executions in these countries.

the problem is that most of the drug traffickers are ignorance of d death penalty in those country. They are been deceived by their agents or so.

Am even scared of going to these countries sef for the sake of being setup with hard drugs just like the lady Mary Jane. The thought of facing death is disturbing. I just know that yes I will die on a certain day, time and in a few minutes or seconds I will be executed is just disturbing...

So many Nigerians love money so they are risk takers at their own expense

Taking drug to Malaysia successfully would give you 3times the money you would get if you take it to other countries

Very sad.

In that business, the higher the risk, the more money.

We only get to hear when they are caught. Those that have succeded are being celebrated in our society as 'successful' business men and women sometimes with titles and political positions. And society really dont ask how u made money.

Poor economic situation is no longer an excuse. 2 Australians were among those executed in Indonesia. At least Australia is a developed economy.
