Concerning the safety, only God Has perfect protection in his hands, but to tell u my own opinion I think if u are traveling by night, the luxurious bus is safer. I personally will never dare travel with those 18 sitter at night. But if u are traveling during the day, then there is Nothing wrong with following the 18 sitter ,except that when the driver is on high speed and u are calling him to caution he might decline by claiming he doesn't understand English.
For the piss thing, u are advised not to take much water or anything liquid because the drivers don't like stopping at every town along the way because it's a very long journey.

Cross-country only travels during the day while the luxurious travels at night. The luxurious is cheaper compared to Cross-country ( almost 4k difference )
Cross-country buses have a/c, while the luxurious bus doesn't but at least offer some level of comfort ( like an adjustable chair which u can relax and sleep during the night)

In other words, weigh the pros and cons and personally decide which one u think will give u maximum satisfaction without regret.

Let me offer this free advice to people who care to listen. Please if u are not really financial bouyant, I advice u not to waste ur money on flight. though kebbi is far and traveling by road may be tiring, but still it doesn't warrant u spending all ur money on flight and going hungry on camp. What I mean is,it won't make any sense spending 38k on flight and then not being able to boast of having 20k in hand on camp. Believe me, u will need that money on camp when u see d kind of food they serve.
And don't forget u will still go back home after camp,for those who will like to.

No probs, Go and get ur statement of results u don't necessarily need to book the bus a day before. u can book that 12pm, hang around and travel that same evening. U will get there on Tuesday afternoon, or latest evening ( I said evening because the luxurious buses are bit slow compared to d normal interstate buses, but they are more comfortable )

One more question pls, where is your PPA? it looks like you enjoyed the place and I have heard stories about no light in places like birnin kebbi&zuru. how true is this? plus I heard there is no other network that works except for zain.

Generally electricity is very stable in kebbi state. And most major towns have access to electricity, not to now talk of places like zuru and Birnin kebbi which are like cities.
As for network,this depends on where u are posted. In some villages, Etisalat is the best network while some places have airtel to be the best network. But for Dakingari where camp is located, Etisalat is practically useless there. Airtel is very strong there
